Think we can go 4-0?

I know you shouldn't look ahead, bla bla...

I know this is the NFL, so any given Sunday, bla bla...

But it's impossible to look at the next few games and not get excited about the very real possibility of starting the season 4-0.

@ the Chiefs. Vs the Rams. @ the Chargers.

We are simply better than all three teams and should beat each of them.

Its really all health dependent. Those away games could easily all be trap games.

chiefs looked good yesterday against what might be the worst team in the NFL. so who knows

We certainly could be. I'm not counting on it though.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves now. Should/could we be 4-0? Absolutely, but this is the NFL...teams are just too talented and upsets happen every week. I remember the same thread popping up a year ago and we go 2-2 with a shaky win against the Bucs

Let's just focus on the chiefs

We should be favored in each game, but there is way too much parity in the NFL to feel confident about winning all three.

Things usually don't go as you predict in the world of the NFL. But that's what makes you want to watch it because anything can happen.

You're right, EmmittnRoy, but you just never know with the Cowboys. If the Cowboys go 4-0 then it signals that a corner has been turned, consistently beating the teams they're supposed to beat. But it's early and we really don't know how good or bad any team is right now. 4-0 would feel real good, though.

the chiefs and the rams are not as bad aas people think

The Rams front four will be a deciding factor. They will have the ability to play the Cowboys the way the Giants did. Which is to say use the front four to stop the run and load up on the passing game with DB's and linebackers.

If the team cannot get respect for the running game then this will be the footprint of the other teams defensive game plan. Dallas will see this week in and week out as long as the other team has a reasonably stout defensive front.

This is where my concern lies throughout the season.

Some have suggested Dunbar and Waters will turn this around.

I hope so, but that is a tall order.

The Chiefs game is the tough one, if we win next week we are staring at 4-0 right in the face.

The two away games are not going to be easy. Kansas City is a difficult place to play and they are improved. At least we will have the Rams at home and we will find out about San Diego tonight. If the Cowboys get out of this stretch 3-1 I would take that.

Rams and Chiefs will be tough and I don't think the Cowboys will beat both of them, so I think 3-1 is more realistic.

These putting-the-cart-before-the-horse threads are some my least favorite on the entire forum.
I feel like we just guaranteed, 100% for sure, that we won't go 4-0. lol
But that's my problem. :)

One of the weaknesses in this game was Berny...he was getting pushed around...hopefully that will be solved with Waters who should be starting from this point on...thus, I see more consistency from the offense and hopefully more of a running game

I don't see any of those teams as pushovers so not sure why after last night that any fan should be taking them lightly. They all have good QB's
