Yes, I still can't stand this guy sometimes, and unless he takes a pay cut, I still want him gone.

With all that bull out the way. The way dude played today, I hope he can just keep that up in the playoffs. I can live with it. He had a questionable PI, but overall he played like he wanted it. He keeps this up we make a huge run in the playoffs. Let's just pray the old Carr does not show up.

Our Pass Rush helped, yes, but usually a QB only need 2-3 seconds and Carr is already beat.

Thank God Claiborne is not here for this. We might not be even talking playoffs with dude. Our D has really improved since his injury. Penalty Wise on 3rd down at least.

Something did change in the way offences approached our secondary after Claiborne went down. There wasn't a near 'guaranteed' play on a CB available to them. Moore came in and played about as solid as you can expect a backup to play. And Patmon started making some plays too. Carr was targeted more, and he got burned a few times, but he's not a complete bum. A lot of times he is right on his receiver and the QB doesn't look his way

Carr is always better in Man than in Zone but this was a much better performance than we have seen since early in the season. He is definitely going to take a pay cut but I'm OK with bringing him back at a lower salary. If the team can add a pass rush and he only has to play man for a few seconds, he won't be exposed like he has been in some games this season. He seemed a lot more motivated today, he put more effort into his tackling as well.

Even Patmon does a good job challenging receivers..

I like our DB's but Carr has been a huge disapointment.

Sterling Moore is a heck of a player and I was so mad when the Cowboys cut him..

I don't understand how nobody signed him after we released him.

It's mind boggling. Can't believe it took so long for us to resign him.

That was a BS PI call that robbed Carr of an INT.. What is the DB supposed to to when the WR is doing the same damn hand jive? Such crap.

Get ready!

This is who Carr is turning into.

Expect to see him start becoming a "playmaker"

The death of his Mom really took a toll on him. They mentioned on the post game show how this is the first time they have seen him in the locker room smiling and having fun. Also mentioned how Carr said himself it was a tough time for him and it finally feels like he's having fun playing football again.

I think it's a confidence issue with Carr. I hope his confidence is back.

Well, I hope so, because he is probably going to have to play the guy who destroyed it in the first place again in about two weeks or so.....

Carr looked greatly good today. He just looked like he was more focused a confident today. Played with a chip on his shoulder.

I've seen Aaron Ross elevate his play for the post season, who says Carr can't do that? This is a good start.

He better get it back quick cause the man that stole it from him awaits..... The mega monster up in Detroit

Hit the mega monster hard and he fumbles like a little beyotch. Don't know if Carr is physical enough, but the outcome will be different this time. Our coaching staff is smarter now and our defense makes more plays. Whoever we play, I hope it's at home.

Agreed.

There was some post-game radio talk that Brandon Carr had been in a real funk since his mother passed right before training camp and seems to be coming out of it.

He is definitely going to take a pay cut but I'm OK with bringing him back at a lower salary. If the team can add a pass rush and he only has to play man for a few seconds, he won't be exposed like he has been in some games this season.

If a pay cut is offered, it would need to include Brandon Carr's base salaries in 2016 ($9.1M) and 2017 ($10M) along with his 2015 base ($8M).

It's a tough thing for any player to do, both financially and egotistically, and I'd expect a massive reduction in salary.

Some performance and playing time incentives could be added to give Carr a chance to recoup some of the lost pay.

Carr is better in man than zone, but he lacks the speed wanted in the former and the scheme is predicated on using a lot of the latter.

He will probably make more by staying in Dallas than with a new team, but I just don't see Carr remaining.

Moore is not liked around the league because of his height. He's a good player though. I think Dallas probably had an issue with it too, but they can't argue with his play.

As long as Carr isn't taking foolish chances, I'm fine with his play. I don't think he's gonna shut an elite guy down but just don't be stupid

Like that play against Maclin last week. Man. Gotta cut that crap out of his game.
