Carr is always better in Man than in Zone but this was a much better performance than we have seen since early in the season. He is definitely going to take a pay cut but I'm OK with bringing him back at a lower salary. If the team can add a pass rush and he only has to play man for a few seconds, he won't be exposed like he has been in some games this season. He seemed a lot more motivated today, he put more effort into his tackling as well.
Yes, I still can't stand this guy sometimes, and unless he takes a pay cut, I still want him gone.
With all that bull out the way. The way dude played today, I hope he can just keep that up in the playoffs. I can live with it. He had a questionable PI, but overall he played like he wanted it. He keeps this up we make a huge run in the playoffs. Let's just pray the old Carr does not show up.
Our Pass Rush helped, yes, but usually a QB only need 2-3 seconds and Carr is already beat.
Thank God Claiborne is not here for this. We might not be even talking playoffs with dude. Our D has really improved since his injury. Penalty Wise on 3rd down at least.
That was a BS PI call that robbed Carr of an INT.. What is the DB supposed to to when the WR is doing the same damn hand jive? Such crap.
Like it or not, Carr has a reputation and is not going to get the benefit of the doubt.
I think it's a confidence issue with Carr. I hope his confidence is back.
The death of his Mom really took a toll on him. They mentioned on the post game show how this is the first time they have seen him in the locker room smiling and having fun. Also mentioned how Carr said himself it was a tough time for him and it finally feels like he's having fun playing football again.
I think Carr played very well. He was robbed of a INT and the refs gifted Indy their only TD which I don't think was fair. So I have no qualms with him in this game.
Our defense played like it was the last game of their lives. They all played well including Carr.
