This could be it for Brady

Winners/competitors don’t go out like that, Brady will give it one more try to see if this was an anomaly or the end. If not in NE, my money is in LA for the Chargers to get their fans excited and buy seats in the new stadium. He is a California guy after all.

Funny,...Brady hasn’t declined that much. His WRs literally just suck. They don’t get any separation without picks and blown coverages. I just stand in awe though that this NE team is as good as they are this year as they have crap for talent.
Even Edelman is not getting playing time for most teams. To me I watched this game and marveled at how the game is about scheme, playcalling, game management, and execution. You rarely see a Pats player doing something dumb or not being in the right position. You almost never see BB make a game management error. Obviously Brady is GOAT but they are winning with average talent at nearly every other position on the field. I really believe we built a pretty talented roster but all the things we did poorly, the pats did well. I’m not sure BB is great at GMing or they might’ve had some actual talent and been really dangerous but as a HC there’s none ever better. Sadly, I can’t see that kind of discipline, focus, and determination ever flying in our locker room as long as JJ is still actively involved. But if we found it, we could easily find our way to the SB. Meanwhile, we lament over how we need a new elite PB talent at S, DT, etc, to go with our PB talent at LT, RG, C, QB, RB, LB, WR,....on and on....a fools errand without the right HC

Brady's last 100 passes in the playoffs: 0 TDs, 1 pick 6.

It for Brady? It's finally over for NE. Good riddance.

As far as I can tell, he doesn't. What's changed? The Patriots are 12-4 with that crap OL and group of WRs. That's par for the course for the Patriots.

The Patriots on average win the SB every other year. This year it looks like Brady doesn't trust most of his WRs. If he doesn't have his first read he usually throws it away. That could be due to pressure as well. But still, they're 12-4.

It would not surprise me if the Patriots cleaned that up and came back next season to terrorize the AFC again.

That's why they are 12-4. Hardly murderers row.

Also why their defensive stats are so good. Look at the offenses they went up against.

Yeah, pretty much all trash. It's amazing to think had they beaten Miami they would have been 13-3 with that team.

What really changed is that Brady's main target , Gronk, is missing and they didn't bring in anyone who could come close to replacing him. Every QB needs a reliable target and Brady had NONE this year. He had no idea where any of those guys were going. Edelman is 33, slow, and cannot carry a wr core. His drop on 3 and 4 probably cost them the game last night.

I think Brady will re-sign, but I wouldn't be shocked if there were stipulations about improving whats around him.

And to think they dumped Brandin Cooks this preseason!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you get to our age, time flies. That was actually in 2018. They won the super bowl, again, in 2019. Gronk retired. They just pushed the envelope too far this year. There is a middle ground between elite talent and complete garbage. They missed it.

Dang, it was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This preseason was Flowers and Gronk retired. Wonder if losing TE Dwayne Allen hurt them? Chris Hogan?

Don't forget, they won a Super Bowl without Gronk. But this season they went a bit too far in dumpster diving. I won't expect the same next year.

They sure made a mistake in trying to count on the likes of Gordan or Brown. Psychos. I was shocked they didn't at least keep Chris Hogan.

Did they miss on Harry? He was their 1st rounder. Since Brady throws a ton of shorter stuff, I was surprised to see them take a weak router runner like Harry. He seems to simply lack the lateral agility to cut consistently. Can't cut, can't get open short/intermediate.

I wouldn't count Harry out just yet. But he doesn't look like a first round talent. They're probably going to have to go to WR again in the first round or offensive line.

Where they are picking in the draft, they aren't going to saddle Brady with another rookie. They will go back to the OL or DL. There are some pretty good veteran WRs who may end up on the market..........

You forgot the part about how, in that same time, he has 1 Conference Championship and 1 Super Bowl Championship.
Not my point. But yeah, they win. People think everything the Pats have done is all due to Brady. Their defense and special teams have been elite for many of their runs.

Most know its a team sport. Bradshaw had the Steel curtain. Staubach had doomsday.........even Bill Walsh put out a heck of a defense. Its never just the QB.
