This Cowboys team has a lot of really good talent and depth (knock on wood). We finally purged Linehan. Marinelli seems to be turning over control to Richard.

Garett is a seasoned coach. Say what you want but he has mostly learned from his mistakes and improved along the way.

Jerry is due one more SB before he takes off into the afterlife. I think this is our year. Maybe one of several if we don’t ruin our cap.

Thus far, the early part of this year has been one of the front office experiencing difficulty in satisfying the demands of a handful of players who appear to expect considerably more than the team brass is comfortable with. It's a dilemma that threatens to continue well into the season before being settled before mutual satisfaction can be achieved.

This situation may or may not be resolved in a sufficiently timely manner. As fans, we'd do well to remain patient until these problems are resolved. I'm fairly confident that the players are feeling the tension in the air right now. Let's see what happens in the weeks to come before assuming a deep playoff run is imminent. Let's face it, too many things point to uncertainty right now. It's a good idea to keep the faith and stay tuned.

I totally agree! And this is why Zeke needs to get in here and players need to stop worrying about contracts. Nobody needs to be signed right now!!! This could be a big distraction for everyone if Dak gets a contract like Wentz.

I totally agree! And this is why Zeke needs to get in here and players need to stop worrying about contracts. Nobody needs to be signed right now!!! This could be a big distraction for everyone if Dak gets a contract like Wentz.

This is their job, not a hobby. They have short careers, generate lots of money for the league and their team, and want their piece of the pie.

It's the job of Jerry & Son to find a way to make it work.
