Teams are teeing off on our lack of success stopping the run, which creates a viscous cycle where our D gets tired, and our greatest skillset (pass rush) goes unused early in games.
I know people are saying these are off tackle runs but that’s simply not true. Other posters have shown the run maps and most long runs are right up the middle. Eagles game is perfect example.
If we can just get a scary fat man that gobbles double teams I have faith that our linebackers will play better and I have faith that Cox and Clarke show enough promise to shore up our LB position long term.
If we get that guy, offenses become one dimensional, and it becomes a freak show
