This one feels worse than ‘just a loss’. This team had no answers for what they were getting out there yesterday.

They couldn’t even slow the Saints down.

They look fundamentally flawed out there on defense. Nothing was working.

And our offense clearly couldn’t match their pace. Our offensive tackles struggled repeatedly to pass protect when they had to have it.

It might just be one ‘L’, but it feels bigger than that to me. It feels like this team has some serious issues.
this reminded me of the loss to denver a couple of years back...they showed the league how to shred the cowboys defense. NO just did the same. take out parsons. and run a lot of crossing routes.

btw, Carr had all day to throw. no pass rush. no pressure. I think in one play I saw him play a game on his phone.....

Why must our losses be in embarrassing fashion?? I know we will have some losses....all teams do....but, by golly, when we lose, we got to do it big!! Yesterday, it looked like all the players had a case of amnesia regarding the fundamentals of football. Not sure how to explain this. Players? Coaches? Opponent? All the above? It's just so frustrating to see your team get smacked so hard in the backside!! I hope I don't have to see another game like this anytime soon. We need to get that sour taste out of our mouths. I want to see this team destroy the Ravens!! Will that happen? I doubt it....but I hope they play a whole lot better than what I saw yesterday!!!
Talk about a wake-up call. It isn't the first and won't be the last.

If we were competitive and lost by a close score, I'd say let's pull up our pants and get ready for battle.

But we were run through ... every weakness was exposed from top to bottom.
Exactly. We watched Bengals lose to chiefs and they fought right up to the end. It is still a disappointing loss....but when you have heart, grit...well....that stays with you as an asset.
Lack of it ....you get these embarrassing losses...over and over.

Dude, it's just week 2. Relax. No one likes this. If this was week 8, It would be totally different.
This team is not beating SF, NO, MIN, PHI, GB or ATL in a playoff game, is that simple.

What? If it was addressed, then where are the starter quality DT's and stud RB?
I was being smart about it. The usual "we like our guys" comment.

They really thought that Zeke, Mazi and Osa would be what this team needed. All three are nothing more than role players. Or, heaven forbid, did they think that Zim along with Micah was going to save the D?

If the front office shows zero urgency toward winning, it will ultimately trickle down to the team. Case in point yesterday.

It's one loss but It does feel more than just a lost game.
We could well win the next 2 games.
But what that loss tells me is that the performance yesterday could happen again at anytime.

It felt like a continuation of the Saints playoff asswhoopin'.

And another public display of "how to beat Dallas" example which will be copied league wide.
Some regular season teams will have the talent to execute this plan of stopping the Cowboys.
Some regular season teams will not have the talent to execute this plan of stopping the Cowboys.

But rest assured ALL playoff teams will be well equipped to beat this team.

And thats what this one loss showed me.
Same old Cowboys.
Sad times.

Honestly what did y'all expect this season, really? They got demolished at home in the playoffs, rewarded those who were part if it, didn't improve the roster, and brought in retread coaches.

Regardless of feelings, it still is just one loss and the team will have opportunities to rectify it in the coming weeks.

I feels like a realization that this team doesn't have the talent or coaching to do much of anything noteworthy. He K, at this point it would be an accomplishment for them to get 12 wins.
Sharing a division with WAS & NYG gifts up an outside shot at 10.

We really don't know that after week 2. We lost to Tampa 19-3 on opening day. We beat them in the playoffs. It doesn't look good, but no one is who they actually are in week 2.
