Now that's a good one:lmao2: you were joking right?

It's not funny, if Moss had played in the AFC Championship game instead of "dropsie", the Pats would be in the Super Bowl.

No way would I touch Moss. He runs poor routs and when things do not go exactly the way he wants he starts slacking off.

Perhaps, but I don't see Belichick putting up with him at all.

I agree, ... I tried to support him in Minnesota, but after seeing his actions in Oakland, he concerns me.

My goodness we agree on a player’s behavior?:laugh1:

Can you say Corey Dillon ?

I don't think they are entirely the same situation. After being in Cincy for 7 or 8 years during that period of time I can see why Dillon wanted out. Moss is just a punk, Moss won't be in NE if for no other reason than he said one time that he does'nt give 100% during games.

I see Moss in Detroit or Tampa. Oakland is kind of stuck and will be forced to take what they can get and it won't be a first round pick. With all of his troubles he will be had for a 2nd round pick. Then the Raiders have to get rid of Jerry Porter.

At one time is was said if a problem player can't play for Al Davis he can't play for anyone. Raiders were the home of the unwanted headcase. I think Moss career is coming to an end fairly soon, he may get another chance but I think it will be the last.

You're probably right. Thank goodness it was Reche Feldman.

Hey, I'd rather have him than Terrell Owens, anyday. Randy just wants to play for a better team - Owens is a tumor.

Owens is a better WR than Amani Toomer, but he's also much more of a headcase.

As reported on Sirius NFL Radio this morning, Lane Kiffin already has issues with Raider star WR Randy Moss. Lane made a call to Randy last week and during the call Kiffin was met with numerous profanities. My guess is Lane told Randy to shape up or he would be shipped out. Randy probably told him what he tells most coaches.

Randy has some serious issues. He is already burning the bridge that newly crowned HC Kiffin tried to build with a preliminary phone call. Please, for the love of god, do not mention TO's name in the same sentence as Randy Moss. Someone did this last week and I couldn't help but notice the short sightedness in the statement. If Moss were a Cowboys today after the reputation he has built for himself in this league I would be the first person to start a GROM campaign. The guy needs to be lying on someone's couch.

Then there's the other POV on this. Perhaps he is just letting the coaching staff know that he wants out of Oakland. Period. Regardless, he's an idiot.

sssssuuuurrrreeeee, you would. ;)

This post is laughable given your position on TO. I'm sure the irony escapes you. :lmao2:

Just as long as he doesn't come here I am happy. I found it quite funny actually that he cussed the new coach out after the first "bridge building" call.

You can't compare the two. I won't explain it to you. The previous posters in this thread already have done a good job pointing out the distinct differences.

I'll will give you one example that perhaps will enlighten you on the difference.

Moss ran someone over on a Minneapolis street. The only crime TO has ever committed is making the ears of the staunch haters bleed. ;)

First, what did that have to do with team chemistry?

Second, Moss didn't run over someone in a Minneapolis street. Yes, please stretch the truth to apologize for TO's behavior.

Third, we're not playing that tired justification game are we?

Well, if I strained real hard I could find the differences between Jeffery Dahmer and Charles Mason. At least Charles didn't eat his victims. ;)

Story
Meet Randy Moss. The 27-year-old Minnesota Vikings receiver was arrested yesterday (9/24) by Minneapolis police and charged with two misdemeanors. According to this arrest report, the mercurial football star drove his 2002 Lexus into traffic agent Amy Zaccardi after she ordered Moss to pull over (the athlete had just made an illegal turn). Moss, hit with careless driving and failure to obey a traffic officer charges, should have known that the bump and run is restricted to the gridiron.

You really should get over your intense TO hatred. It's the offseason you know. I know you're stewing over the fact Jerrah wants him back but you'll get over it next year when his TD total balloons to 20.

Really indeed.

Randy Moss, the star wide receiver for the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings, was arrested in 2002 and charged with two misdemeanors for pushing a traffic officer with his Lexus. The traffic officer was trying to stop Moss from making an illegal turn. Moss, who could have been charged with felony assault, got the lesser charges because authorities had no evidence that he intended to hurt the traffic officer.

Yes, that sounds like he "RAN SOMEONE OVER" (I think those were your words). ;)

This is always the line the apologists fall back on because the substance of their arguments are so riddled with illogical that they have nothing else.

1. Don't hate TO and have stated he should be given another chance with the Cowboys, especially since he had an injured hand.

2. Yes, it is the offseason. So why bring up Moss? He's not a Cowboy. Unless, of course, you're trying to deflect from TO's actions by comparing someone you consider worse. Regardless of what Moss has or hasn't done, he's not on this team. TO is. And Moss has shown the same attitude that TO has. The traffic cop incident has NOTHING to do with the criticism Moss is now receiving, i.e., that he gives a half-hearted effort and he disrespects his superiors, including his new coach. That is the SAME criticism leveled at TO. And none of your deflecting the issue to Moss' off field conduct - which had nothing to do with the game or team chemistry - is going to change that.

3. Ah, projecting future results as a way to justify past conduct. You really need to get some new material. Too easy to dismantle and dissect. ;)
