There’s just no oomph. No real breakout star or fun coach. No life right now. It’s jsut coming across like a really old player out franchise in upper management. And a really young over matched roster on the field.

Marist lafau? Calen Carson? Cooper beebee ? Rico doodle? Some of the young players have honestly been put in an unfair spot by having to step right in and do so much. They kind of gave these guys no shot from the beginning.

Yeah it's shaping up as a lost year.

One of those where things are so off you struggle to actually evaluate anyone.

They do lack juice.  If only they could get on the white horse like Michael Irvin and his mates in the 90s.

1989 will turn out to be a better season.

It‘s not about juice, they have no balance, or talent in the middle of both trenches.

Great kicker though.

We were 1-15 in 89 and that team is ranked in the top 10 worst teams in NFL history. I get that you’re disappointed with the team we have this season, but let’s not go overboard.

We would likely be 0-6 without them. You’re living in the moment.
Who cares about the regular season record in a lost year? We would be free from these bad contracts. That's not living in the moment, that's getting ready for the next era.

Without those players we would have a number of lost years. Moving on from your starting QB and your number one receiver would be stupid. We would’ve been using premium picks trying to find their replacements. We need those picks for other positions of need and we have a lot of needs.

Translation - Embrace mediocrity.
