This is a bad draft?

It's solid in the mid rounds at the positions we are weak at.

It's a bad year to be drafting top 10. Maybe even top 15.

That is why i'm all about the trade down / quantity approach in this draft.

“@PriscoCBS: With one day to go, I have this to say: Don't believe the hype. This is a damn good draft.”

I think there's a pretty big lack of talent in the top 25 but 26 all the way through about 80 is very strong in terms of value.

I agree. I'd even say from 40-120 range is very solid.
I think we'll look back and see an unusual number of 3rd and 4th rounders making big contributions for teams around the league.

The lack of top skill players really mucks things up for us, now everybody and their dog will be drafting linemen early. I don't consider having a large number of 3rd, 4th, and 5th round graded linemen available as a good thing given our track record.

Pick any year and I bet you can find someone criticizing that yrs draft class.

Yeah, I'd rather get a lineman or too early.
I can see real a value at RB, WR, and safety later.

It's just not as top heavy as usual. This is the draft that pick 15-50 aren't that far apart in talent level
