This is a job

Well wait a second . With the salary the fans gushing the women comes a deal you have to put up with the criticism. The scrutiny . It’s a fair trade off . Jerry had plenty of success early in his ownership but almost over 30 yrs later it’s getting to be like a repeat performance. The latest version is is 13-14 after 27 games. The version before got fired for lots of 8-8 seasons .
 
That's why I laugh at people demanding "home town" discounts. Like they would take a lesser pay from their jobs.

That said, the difference in fans is what makes this place fun and frustrating as well.

After a loss, the bottom dwellers come here pounding the chests celebrating failure. It’s pathetic and takes all enjoyment out of coming here.

Misery loves company. Tons of people out there that waiting to pounce and crap on others when the opportunity arises. It's pretty sad and pathetic but a simple fact of the society we currently live in with social media and whatnot

Good Post, but you left out one very important aspect. FANS buy the tickets, fans buy the Team merchandise, fans watch the TV, which pay the NFL billions of dollars to broadcast...

It may be a Job for the Players and Coaches but its the FANS that make it all possible to include paying the bills....

Fans don't have to buy tickets etc...that's the beauty of it....we have a choice....players don't, they'll be cut in a heartbeat when the brass is done with them.

yep, they are no way they can function in society when they get mad crazy about a player. I know I would not want them dating my mom, sister, or daughter.
