This is DEFINITELY Bledsoe's last year

Drew is done here in Dallas after this year, IMHO. Tony Romo will be the starter, maybe even before the end of this season.

Who hear wants to see this? I know I do. I like Drew. I really do. But he is becoming a liability. He has great games against inferior teams. And then teams like the Iggles come around, where we know we are the better team overall, and he ends up making costly mistakes.

I know... I know... it's not all Drew's fault. But I am beginning to question Drew's accuracy and decision making. He is losing what Romo has found... and that is his moxie and confidence. I believe players on this team are slowly beginning to lose faith in Bledsoe as each game passes. No pun intended.

I would like to win this year....it's still early to discuss next year. Let's see what happens the rest of the way before coming to any decisions.

Next year could come this year if Bledsoe does not start overcoming some of his deficiencies (sp).

He's killing us right now. Not only is he throwing pics but he's also missing open recievers for TD's at critical times of the games. As far as I'm concerned, we lost 2 games because of him. I like Drew also and have supported him since he has been here but his time is up. Romo is more accurate, mobile, and hungry. I truely believe we would be better with Romo at QB.....

You are correct. I'm not excited about Bledsoe, but I wouldn't be excited were Romo starting either. It's likely we will take a step back before we take a step forward.

I honestly think if Romo were to start, he could become what Jake Delhomme became to the Panthers. Romo had the time to sit back and watch before being tossed into the fire, much like Delhomme did with the Saints before signing with Carolina.

I think he could very well start, and play very well for us.

Why? Are you concerned about Romo throwing pics, Blesoe is throwing them. Are you concerned about Romo not avoiding the rush, Bledsoe can't avoid the rush. Are you concerned about Romo missing open recievers, Bledsoe is missing open recievers. I'm confused, why is it likely we would take a step backwards? I don't see it that way at all. Romo is no rookie. He has been around for awhile. He's accurate, mobile, smart, and hungry. Let him play!!!

Spot on my friend! He has cost us two games. The last one against the Iggles is still a bitter pill.

What gets me is Drew throwing at the WR's feet. Underthrowing his receivers. Missing wide open WR's. And the ever faithful... trying to squeeze the ball into a crowd of defenders.

I know I am getting picky. But I'm getting rather annoyed by it all.

Me too dude. He can't even hit the 10 yard drag route that TO runs across the field. If he hits TO in stride, he keeps running for another 10 yards or so. Bledsoe is throwing it at his feet or behind him. I'm so sick of it. I don't blame TO for being pissed. I am too!!! :bang2:

I love these "it couldn't get any worse" arguments! Didn't we use that one last year with our LT and find out that it, indeed, could get much worse? Bledsoe has plenty of faults, but if you honestly think a quarterback who hasn't yet thrown a regular season pass in the NFL could not in any way be worse, then I don't think there is any way to have a rational discussion here. Just look at the Bills and Losman as evidence.

Losman wasn't throwing to TO and TG. We have talented WR's running WIDE OPEN but we can't get them the ball because our QB is flatout missing them..

I don't really think the relative strengths of our wide receivers have anything to do with the basic issue here. Do you really think Romo COULDN'T POSSIBLY be worse?

The experience of the great majority of NFL teams is that a new QB struggles for a while. Romo is likely to be no different. My desire to win now is what makes me cautious on Romo.
