Is this the begining of the end for Jerry as the Cowboys Owner! Did he bite off more than he could chew with this New Stadium... Maybe he will be forced to sell the team like Art Modell did a few years ago! This team has no heart to inspire anyone to buy season tickets with PSLs that r prohibitive in this economy. In addition, bad money deals to current players, poor coaching habits and questionable drafting makes for an uncertain future. The City of Dallas loves its Cowboys (they still hate Jerry 4 Landry) but they only spend their hard earned money on when the Boys win, Super Bowls! If anyone knows this its Jerry Jones why else would he give up what he did 4 a WR,(not to say they are the same) knowing what it cost him b4 with the media when he over paid for Joey. What Jerry has failed to realize and his coaches and players as well is that u can't measure heart. Ask yourself what makes a guy like Warrick Dunn play in the league for years when a guy like Ryan Leaf (former Cowboy) falls on his face... Its heart the kinda heart Dexter Coakley showed. The kinda heart that all of the Rookie WRs showed this year after The boys decided none were talented enough to play in Dallas. this season. Jerry is desperately trying to replace heart with talent, because he knows unlike most NFL owners his bottom line is now a concern and could lead him down the path simular to the former Browns owner who risked all to win a Super Bowl! Cowboy Fans have been cursed by Jerry, taking the brunt of the medias insults on a national stage. Cowboy fans recall the Jimmy Johnson piece after the loss to the 94 9ers and Mel kiper blowing up over drafting Quincy Carter with a late second pick! This is what those Cowboy fans have only dreamed about, a new owner a new direction a new GM... This is how it starts bad decisions accross the board! The Roy Williams deal did not bring desire or create a super bowl winner over night instead it put more pressure on the team to win and they cannot handle anything outside of their stats and bank account. I could go on but this team is not worth it so I will turn my attention to the Zoners since this is my 2000 post. A few weeks ago ppl had opinions that this team wasn't right and before that in the preseason true Cowboy fans called a spade a spade and got ripped for it here on this board... Chicken Littles may not know football but the Chicken Littles on this board know the Dallas Cowboys!

No offense, but this is the dumbest post I have ever read.

How exactly is Jerry going to lose the Cowboys? The team is a freaking cash cow, with the new stadium we are going to be the #1 revenue team in the entire freaking NFL.

The city already ponied up the money and most of the season tickets and PSLs have already been sold.

Everybody already knows the Stephen Jones will be taking the team over when he dad retires, so he wont be selling JACK.

This thread should be "How Wade lost his dam job".

******** thread award anyone?

Do we have an ***hole fan award?
How about a jerk*** fan award?

Do you want to know what I find so funny about this thread?

I have a friend, who comes here, who couldn't be home for the game. I'm giving him updates and about 1/2 hr after the game I call him to ask if heard the big news post game?

Since he's a bit of a doom and gloomer, I thought I'd give him some perspective with my game after mock news that Romo was retiring, Wade resigned and Jerry announced he was selling the team.:D

Actually since he knows he won't find a buyer under these economic conditions he's decided to disband the franchise.

I could have just told to log on here.
