My teams are the Reds and Cowboys as may of you know. I have not watched an entire Cowboys game in weeks, for the first time in decades I have lost interest. Winter is coming, bought a new toque from Fanatics....didn't even think twice which team I supported
It actually feels good knowing the cowboys could be on TV and I can walk away, out and about with multiple QTRs left and not care.

Do I believe fans should be drained of their Fandom til that point? No, but 20+ years on the cowboys roller coaster has done just that.

I feel at times Jerry in some way sold his soul for those 3 SBs, and he is spending the rest of his life paying for it.

It is quite sad that the owner of a sports franchise can turn his fanbase off their loyalty to their team...yet, here we are.

That ended we really need another post about the same thing literally everybody's had this exact same feeling that they've made a separate post about that they could've just talked about in any other post the team does not need a full rebuild this is 2020 all over again did we do a full rebuild in 2021 Nope but we went on year run of 12 win seasons that's what we did lots of injuries lots of bad luck it just happens it's goes that way for a lot of teams and luckily for us it's very rare that we have seasons like this but getting the draft picks we're gonna get is gonna help tremendously if anybody can't see the correlation it looks a whole lot like 2020 and that did not push this team off a Cliff... I mean Prescott came off a far worse injury it had one of his best seasons 37 touchdowns 10 interceptions A12 win season right off a broken ankle and now they're worried about his hamstring like all of a sudden he's gonna fall off a Cliff people are just weird man they gotta stop I don't mind people venting but you don't need a separate thread that says the same thing that 70 other people have already said there are threads all over you could just add to it
Just non-stop defending the regime. There is a reason we are losing so just admit it.

The cowboys have let me down to the point I have no more emotions for them. The last 4 games I've cut the game off either during mid 2nd qtr or 3rd quarter. I find myself not mad but more so in a happy mood because of unrelated things in general.

Fellow fans may tell me to kick rocks or go with another team but I have no interest in watching football if not for the cowboys, I don't care how good another team is. And the cowboys are also to blame why my passion is gone.

I'm starting to look at my love for the cowboys as a thing of the past. This is the first season where my interest was at an all time low, and I'm not just talking because of the losses.

I'm talking before the season started.
Reason why was because I don't like dak leading this team, and I know he was coming back. He hasn't done much but lose playoff games and stat pad. I believe dak is no better than what he has offered for years.

I also didn't think the coaching was good enough to hang with modern day football. There are so many teams ahead of dallas when it comes to offense that I know for fact if dallas makes the playoffs, they are done.

Our defense is also not good enough to hang with modern day offenses.

The cowboys are just not with the times and there is just zero reason for me to be excited even before the season began.

Fans are so excited and pumped before the season starts, but it doesn't take a genius to know the cowboys arnt going to be good or not going far.

Why should I keep settling for that. The more I put the puzzle together, the more my passion grew blank.

Pretending that there is a reason to get excited about the cowboys every year gets tiresome. The last time I got excited about the cowboys was when they sign Mike Mccarthy, and that lasted about a year and a half after I realized he can't take this team that far with a lack of innovation, Dak as the QB, and a bend don't break defense.

Even if Mccarthy goes, I don't believe there is no coach that can win with what dallas has on offense and defense.

Jerry will still be here which means the way dallas does things won't change.

Parsons and lamb should be traded for 1st round picks while they are young and still have value. Keeping them is just asinine at this time.

Dallas needs a complete rebuild starting with the owner on down. I do not see that in the near future. In fact I can't picture any Jones member running this team any better than Jerry. Imo this team should have been sold long ago
We have a head coach. His name is Jerry Jones

jerry will make just enough changes to create hope with the casual/fringe fans to bring them back. just enough hope and players to create some of the more ardent fans taking side, all to keep the interest on the cowobys. you might think he is upset, but he is not. all attention is on cowboys. we get highest ratings, for people to tune in to watch us lose. Jerry is loving it. he is going to generate a lot of interest next off season with a few sly moves, a new coach, a key FA signing (one) and more talk..... and if next season is not as bad as this one (how could it), then he will say we are headed in the right direction and generate more hope....and the cycle of wash, rinse, repeat continues. I think this will be the 5th one if not the 6th.
that might happen, but starting with 2 playoff losses to SF where at end of game cowboys looked like amatuers.
Then the GB fiasco.
Now everything jerry has done or not done this off season and season.
Signing a old dak to the largest contract in nfl history, then dak has the meat off the bone thing.
All the stuff jerry has said and continues to say !

I think all this combined, this was a bad year to tank, and I think it may change fans minds about jerry this fo, and this group of players.

I heard there were empty seats last game, and that may get worse. It is a sign fans are wising up.

this is no different than campo years, when he finally yielded to Parcells, just for one year. he was new at it back then and he even himself said, he learned how to run a football team from parcells and that emboldend him.
wade years were awful. and it ended in disaster.
then garrett years and it was a disaster
now this is a disaster.

more and more he sound more focused on maximizing profits and revenue as opposed to football. he is not mincing words any more.
his answers are not correlated. he answers to win an argument right there for that question. the next question he may just give the opposite answer to win that argument.

I watched the cowboys in the 70s. suffered through the 80s, celebrated the 90s, and it has been nothing good since 1995. that's 29 years and counting.

Get into some FF leagues, it will provide a spark for your general interest in the league.

I never would have thought it would be possible but I could see a scenario where I just stop following Cowboys football all together. I don't think I would miss it. It is really more just a habit at this point.

I'm glad I have got to a point where this crap don't matter. I saw 3 super bowl wins when I was young. I'm 50 now. Life is happening and I don't get a single dividend from Jerry Jones. Those players don't care about the integrity of the Dallas Cowboys. They go soak in a hot tub in their mansion while we go to work in the morning. Go caitlin clark! Making 70k per year and carrying an entire league that hates her.
