I am not over reacting to todays game ,but in saying that ,I believe that The Dallas Cowboys may need a change in their coaching philosophy .

I'm not saying that Wade has done a bad job and I'm not blaming him on today's loss, on the contrary, he's done a good job with this team. But doing a good job in the last three years has just made us a mediocre team.

Sometimes there is only so far you can go with someone.

I'm thinking we need new minds to get us over the hump.

This is just my opinion so don't get all flustered.;)

Wade nor any coach on staff is good enough to win a championship, there is a reason Captain Hee Haw is 1-5 in the playoffs....

It doesn't matter who the HC is. Jerry Jones is the one in charge.

Changing HC's is like rearranging the chairs on the Titanic. Sorry for the old cliche.

We were good this year. We just missed out on a chance for homefield and that bit us. Also it doesn't help to turn the ball over as many times as we did.

Wade made 2 Mistakes today. Both of them allowing Shuisam to kick for 45+ Field goals. You go for it on 4th and 1 when you do not have consistent kicker. And you punt in the second situation, pin them deep.

I've place most of the blame on Garret. I was never a fan of his, he had an inability to change his game plan after the halfway point of a season. Once teams understood our offense, we sucked (every December), and our offense never adjusted. This year our Offense did adjust later in the season, and it worked out well for us, I was starting to come around to Garret. That being said, Garret is still terrible at changing the game plan on the fly, during a game. Garret is simply not good under pressure.

Our O-line got shreded today. Romo was running for his life the entire game. Add more to that, he had ball protection issues. 2 Of those fumbles were totally his fault (1 got picked up by the vikings). Can't fault him for Jared Allen blindsiding him for a fumble, no QB would do any better there.

Sad Sad day today. Our Defense was playing pretty decent until the end when they were totally winded and their momentum was shattered by lack of offense. That first TD.. Sensabaugh needs to be smacked in the ****ing head.

I agree 100% with your opinion!!

I wish our defense could've played like the Jets are. :(

Getting outclassed the way we did today ultimately speaks for istself, but I will disagree with something you said, even if it's only semantics.

I don't know that I agree we've been 'mediocre' during Wade's tenure. Two division titles, two trips to the second round of the playoffs, one of the better winning percentages over the stretch. It's not spectacular, but I think it's better than mediocre.

With that said, what I dislike about this team's approach is that it needs to be a front-running team to have success. The defense kept us in today's game, so I don't pin much on Wade's unit. But it seems like unless our offense is able to dominate from the start, they struggle to put up points at all. I'm not much of a Garrett critic, but my biggest criticism of him as a play caller is that there's this sense of "we're doomed" if we're trailing by three or more points at any point in the game.

A mediocre team doesn't go 11-5 and win the NFCeast.

With all due respect That's what we all said when we were 13-3;)

With all due respect, everyone was on Wade's jock when we were winning and all the Negative Nancys were quiet.

Now we lose and suddenly everyone knew that Wade was the problem all along.

If I roll my eyes any harder, I'm gonna sprain something.

or blow the Philadelphia Eagles out two weeks in a row.

or lose to the #2 seeded NFC team with 13 wins including 8-0 at home.

but you get where this is going.

I would like the Jets' secondary coach as Cowboys next DC (w/Wade playcalling of course).

And Garrett needs a vet offensive assistant that can slap him out of his funk from time to time. A guy like Dan Reeves. Maybe even bring in Mike Martz to replace Wade Wilson. Wade Wilson brings NOTHING to the table. NOTHING.

Of course its an overreaction. That's ok, no one likes to lose. But pretending it isn't is being dishonest... as is using "mediocre" to describe the season. It is our best season in 13 years, that's hardly mediocre by either NFL standards or the Dallas Cowboys standards.

Wade made subtle changes this year, including bringing in Brooking and Igor that worked out quite well. His guys seem to play quite well. So does the draftee he fought for in Spencer.

This team doesn't lack passion or fire or youthful talent, they lack a kicker and some OL play.

The OL play issue belongs to Jerry and Bill Parcells. They tossed first day draft choices at the positions but whiffed. Those guys should be hitting their prime but instead our on second careers for the most part.

We need to hit on a young OL draft pick in an early round. A guy who can be dominant. We knew it last year but had burned the pick on RW11. Let's hope this year turns out well on draft day.

We'd have Reeves now if he wanted to be an every day Offensive coach but he doesn't. The issue with him is he wants a part-time gig. That's why he didn't take any other gig either. If he changes his mind I know Jerry will hire him in a second.

Thurman has had chances to come here before and balked. No reason for him to leave Ryan now.

But we could upgrade a couple areas line OC coach with Houck retiring and bringing in a DC if only in name.

More than anything they need to start identifying what to do in free agency and how to get a top notch OT out of this draft--- something we haven't done since we drafted Flozell....

Imagine Flo inside at LG ... wow. That's a massive OL that could seriously run block.

When did Thurman balk? I don't remember the Cowboys ever being interested they(or Jerry) seemed more interested in getting Campo back.

When Billick was fired we tried to get him here.

I don't recall all the issues but he has been mentioned here a zillion times over the last 5 years.
