This is the last thread I would have imagined creating

One game at a time. But 2 out of the next 3 and then what should be a gimme vs Jacksonville. 8-2 at the bye. The schedule is tougher on the back end but no single game appears to be all that difficult. On paper at least, we have survived the toughest games on the schedule IMO

It's critical that the Cowboys be no worse than 10-2 after the Philly game heading into that tough stretch of road games to finish the season.

That gives them the best chance at home field advantage in the playoffs.

Home field advantage? Can you believe it's even a topic of discussion around here this season?

What a beautifully surprising year this is so far. As optimistic as I've been all offseason, I could never have possible imagined making a thread like this.

It's a wonderful thing!!

If we're 10-2 we're in football heaven. I don't buy into "we always struggle in December" crap. It's irrelevant to this season. Our boys will definitely be ready for whoever is in front of us. This season has been a blast!

Then again, we haven't looked like the typical Dallas Cowboys of previous years.

This team, up to now, looks unlike anything I've seen since the 90's teams, when it comes to mental/physical toughness. This team has had several opportunities to lay down in this young season, yet they chose to fight, instead. Down 21-0 against Rams in ST Louis...doesn't matter that it was "just the Rams, dude", 21-0 is 21-0. They won. Up on the high powered Saints, the Saints start a comeback in the 3rd quarter, still PLENTY of time for a comeback/fold. 'Boys win going away. Down 10-0 very early to Seattle IN SEATTLE and down by 3 again late in the game...nothing but fight coming out of our dogs...they prevailed. This team isn't going to go away any time soon, health permitting. I say "health permitting", but that applies to every team in the NFL. We're in this for the long haul!

We're not even 1st place in our division.

With a win Sunday Dallas can be alone at the top as Philly has the bye. Dallas has a chance to go 6-1 with Philly 5-1 with an upcoming meeting with Arz. Only team both Dallas and Philly have lost to has been SF
