remember last time we played rams...on their 11 yd line....4th and 4 and instead of kicking FG to tie game 20-20 he went for it and Ceedee was 1yd too lean and then last second Ramsey totally

flops on Gallup for OPI and we lose
Exactly. Take the easier points and win the game.

See? Easy.

To me week 1 didn’t matter who our QB was. The abandoning the run was a mistake. We just weren’t ready from players to coaches. After we went back to the run and getting ball out. The Defense improving and ST making plays. We have turned a corner. If Dak wasn’t hurt and was playing how many points would we be getting. We are getting more drives and not putting up points but we are making some plays. Let’s just keep improving no matter who the QB is.

Important thing for the offense is playing calm cool football. We might not be scoring a ton....but very few turnovers and long-ish drives. This helps our defense more than gun slinging turn overs.

I am not exactly saying that what dak does. But considering people were ready to tank BECAUSE of cooper rush.....welll how can we NOT give him credit for NOT screwing up? Kinda like what Dak did with the 2016 team.

Late in the fourth quarter cowboys up by six . fourth and five for first down. Maybe six I truly don’t recall. Well I do recall his watching McCarthy on the sidelines and I know he wanted to go for it. We kick a field goal. If Prescott was in there do you think McCarthy kicks that field goal. I don’t.
We probably punt...

Question for you. Do you take 100% a Hundred percent of Cooper rush, over A not perfect Prescott . I would hate to see Prescott throw an INT because the ball slips out of his hand. But we definitely need to put more points on the board if we’re going to beat the Eagles.
You're trying to compare a backup QB to a starting QB. I take Cooper as a backup. I'm losing faith in Dak as a starter.

I stay w/ Rush in this game. Hand injuries are extremely tricky for a QB. Coming back to soon can completely ruin your motion which affects your accuracy. Romo went through this for a while after breaking his hand in 08 and being brought back too soon.

I have and seen it live. My statement is still accurate about Dak. You can keep polishing that turd, but it will not look or smell any better.
When Dak targets Gallup there connection seems to be better the deeper Gallup gets. So just like I can keep polishing a turd, you can keep disliking Dak. But he's still going to be out starter moving forward. I'm not too find of that scenario myself, because like 6'4" strong armed QB's. But what can fans do, beside root for their favorite team?

Go look at Gallup's highlights. Then get back to us about Dak.

Oz---with gallup i think we have 2 receiver 1b's...Gallup and Ceedee...Noah Brown is no slouch...give him a shot he will make a catch and does not fumble and can block like a tank for a receiver

add out TE group and we are way above average in receiver department....above average in RB department......Cooper plays within himself so he does not hurt team....sure we need to score more

but if defense makes a score we are in it......now Sheagles average 27 a game...throw out game 1 which totally kills our average and we are 23 per game average....our defense allows 14.4 to Sheagles

17.2....and scoring average offense and defense we are neck and neck....so now incorporate variables....this is where i think we get killed with ..Hurtz's RPO's....freezes linebackers and rushman

just hoping our DC has a plan scheme to minimize it....Sheagles only 2 turnovers ...Cowboys 1 turnover.....i will watch the Sheagles and Cardinal game for Arizona could have won that game

what did they do that we coud incorporate?.......see OZ i laid an OctoPlat gurantee win over rams..Octo (8)....now i want to lay a HekaPlat (10) win over Sheagles cause i despise them...what do

you think with the games variables i put up?

You're absolutely wrong here.

I mean, dead wrong.

The level of mathematic and situational ignorance in this post is over the top.

Going for the FG with either QB is about as much of a no-brainer as no-brainers get.

I’m not gonna argue it was the right or wrong call. I get both sides. But I do think if Dak is there they go for it. I wasn’t comfortable with that lead. Maybe I should’ve been. It was a Tutu Atwell or Kupp big play away from being close.

The score was 16-10. If you make the FG, you're up by two scores and you can always go for a 2-point conversion to make up for the missed extra point if you have to match them later on with a TD to keep it tied.

It was the 3rd quarter. If you miss the FG, you squandered an opportunity to go up two scores.

Add to the fact we're a defensive team, that relies on the defense, and that's really all anyone with a semblance of insight would need to know that it was the right move, no matter which QB.

I'm not talking about you, because I realize you like Dak. But the whole Dak vs Rush thing shows how pathetic some of our fans really are.

Even when we've clearly shown we're a legitimate contender for the post season, fans still want to obsess over the Jones' even though they did an outstanding job this offseason, and they predictably overly-criticize Dak because he's not Tom Brady..

The bottom line is, no matter the QB, that was 100% the right call.

Yes, because it’s a no brainer. Makes it a 12 point lead and forces the Rams to have to score 2 TDS to win!

Bingo bro. Even when Dak comes back that’s the formula. 2016 season formula with the Defense and ST. Dak will not want to turn the ball over and not sling it around as his hand won’t be completely ready. JJ wants his money on the field and Dak wants back in to play with this team, Defense and ST along with the Offense playing better. Dak will take the sure shorter throws and ease into the longer throws which is what Rush is doing. But Rush is taking longer shots the last few games. Dak has years starting in this system. If he isn’t coming back playing better than Rush then it could be trouble for him.

It's unfathomable. The claim has been made there's no agenda here....but there is either an agenda, or a level of football knowledge that is below zero.

Our defense can buckle down against the run, but they start every game in attack mode. Do I think we'll get hit for a couple of big plays early on.

Our skill players on offense have proven that they can get if done, but will Rush have time to go deep? And can our RB's put up good yardage? So the real variable is the play of both our lines. The eagles, on paper, seem to have the advantage over us when it comes to line play.

This game will come down to the coaches. The players pretty much cancel one another out. So the coaches and special teams will decide who wins this game. Oddly enough I trust Moore to come up with an great plan of attack. It's Quinn and the defense that I'm worried about. Does Quinn have enough influence to make our DLine slow down a bit? Because, they are going to have to slow play s lot of plays and still get after Hurts when needed.

They have the better lines on offense and defense. We have better skill players on offense and defense. So coaching matters in this game. Time to see what this team is made of...on the road, nevertheless.

Dallas wins 23 to 20 in overtime, IMO.. But I'm a Homer and I'll never pick against my 'Boys.
