Drew Bledsoe 45 29 287 64.4 6.4 2 4.4 0 0.0 40 4/24 97.2

The fact that Bledsoe threw for a 64% clip we only went up top about 3 or 4 times in the whole pre-season. We have just added the anti 8 man front in Price. Coupled with Glenn, I expect Glenn and price to line up on the same side alot. I remember the Rams forcing teams to choose which Wr to cover on one side and hit the other. No time for false steps by the safties. You guard one the other has single coverage adn both Glenn and price can beat single coverage. Add in the fact that Witten stays open underneath as well as Johnson and now JJ has 7 men in the box and LA, Riveria and crew are licking their chops. I just feels sorry for that poor rookie # 3 DB that has no chance in hell to cover these guys.

64% guys and we have yet to unleash our deep threats, nothing on film guys to look at, because we didn't have 3 weapons like this last and we haven't shown anything in this pre-season. JJ and A-train will abuse defenses in the 4th quarters. I know I equaled Train to THam, but I was wrong. He has just turned into BPs new version of Anderson and I'm not talking about Richie. More like OJ Anderson int the Giants SB year. Tire out the defense with a nice run game and solid passing game, then let Train pound on them until they quit. Sunday can't get here fast enough.

Oh yeah, 4 sacks allowed and teams did continue to blitz throughout the pre-season. We did a nice job of picking them up.

When I watched that opening drive last week I saw the following.

For the first time our offense really, really can bite you. Adding Price elevates this even more.

Its pick your poison. Bledsoe with weapons has had multiple 4000 yard seasons. He's really underrated as a pure passer.

You don't commit to the run JJ will kill you. And he might run over you anyway if you try and stop him!

Witten - have to account for him at TE

Glenn, Key, Price, Crayton - when have we had that talent in the past?

This team should score 7-10 points a game more than last year.

Not to be the party-pooper here, but if you go 3-wide with Witten out in a route, you're blocking with 5 guys. Is this offensive line good enough to keep Bledsoe off his back? That is really the key question that needs to be answered on Sunday.

I concur, I just hope we attack! I know PP won't be up to par with the rest of the team, but we still will have a package that he can come in on and shine as we game plan. Its about adjustments anyway. We are under rated as I see it now, but PP just but our opponents on notice. No disrespect to Crayton but I think PP name carries alot more weight to DC than his does. To think, we have depth at every skill position and its quality depth.

Not really, because it forces a LB to cover one of these guys or blitz. If they do blitz and we pick it up, game over.

Oh but Bledsoe's Preseason Stats are good too.

;)

In all seriousness though, I was really impressed about Drew's last Preseason Performance. I know Jacksonville held a few of their Starters out but he, along with Julius and Witten, still absolutely gashed their First-Team Defense and now has tons of momentum on his side to open the season.

I wish someone would come up with a chart that says when preseason means something and when it doesn't. :bang2:

YOu know, I try to find some kind of fault with Jessica but I just can't. Maybe the fact that she's not with me is the only fault that I can find.

Now that I think of it, she does have the anti J Lo butt. I don't think she'd look good with a J Lo butt but from the size of her hips, she could use a little more rump in her roastie.

Then again, I have more budunkadunk than she has. Maybe I'll offer her some of mine for some of hers.

I know, I know.. That sucked.

Keep in JJ as a blocker. This line up will provide several BIG plays this year, write it down:

Three wide single back set:

Wr: Glenn/Price/Johnson

Witten on the end of the O-line next to Pettiti:

JJ lone back behind Bledsoe to pick up a blitz or sneak out of the backfield as a saftey valve.

Getting ready for this line-up on Sunday at some point!

lucky bledsoe....

as for PP not going to be up to par, running straight down the field doesnt take a whole lot of practice. I dont think anyways
