We need to put Wilfork on Spencer's back.

I truly think we're gathering the kinds of players who will give their all. Sean Lee is the forerunner of the latest crop of RKGs who are gonna take the Cowboys all the way, added along to some of our best vets that have always had the right spirit of effort & intensity, combined w/ skill & 'want to.'

Good things coming just up ahead ... and that's not just a homeristic generalization born of naive hope. This team is being built for the successful, long haul. I really do believe it.

The polar opposite of this would be Dez Bryant carrying Roy Williams' shoulder pads the length of the field. :laugh2:

I love that movie and that scene in particular. I wish I would have had a coach or mentor in my life that would push me like that when I was young. Well, I do now and it is great. :D

People will quit when they THINK they can't go any further or when the feel like they are close. I love what Parcells used to say: "Never let good enough be good enough".

You are absolutely right Hos, that is the type of attitude we need on this team. I hope Garrett pushes the players like that. :starspin

I haven't seen that movie, but I will.

i want the same thing......when Romo hangs his head the first time i want Jason Garrett to fight him just like bill o'brien fought tom brady during the Commanders game

i would not be mad if the team started fighting each other during the game, anything is better than them quitting

What does the Jeremy kid say at 6:04?
The coach had said, "you just carried a 140 pound man on your back 100 yards."

He says, "I weigh 160."

Hos, shame on you....

Facing the Giants is an outstanding movie.....not just for football, but also for faith and inspiration.

The faith community built that film up so much before its release that in the end I think it ruined it for me. Gave me expectations that were not nearly met.

Maybe if I watched it again now after my expectations are now very low.

"Courageous" with that same actor, was outstanding.

These are my favorites scenes of the movie Hos, First one you posted, then these:

especially last 5 minutes, where guy gives it over, then father tells son if you believe that what will happen-do your best, actions follow your beliefs, if you accept defeat then thats what you will get, kinda like jimmy johnson told the team, those days of losing are over, believe now in winning, hard work, give it your all

then at end where guy comes in and tells coach:

Then, Grant worked on his new coaching style, gave it to the team:

Kinda like Jason Garrett is doing now, making every day build on, what is purpose of this team, and why? CowboyWay,

Drive, Determination, make best he can do to make cowboys.

I still believe this is a building year, but one more good draft is what Jason Garrett needs. I view this team where the cowboys were in 1990, and the cowboyway. We are building pieces while getting rid of players that dont fit the cowboy way.
Roy Williams, Gurode, Columbo-past his prime but Jason wants guys that work and are as nasty as him, Barber-knew he was beat up and past his prime, retired this yr, Kosier-beat up, Leonard Davis, Newman, Bradie, Brooking,

No other coach took the heat that Jason did by letting those players go last yr like Jason did. To me Wade didnt have the guts to admit players were past their prime and time to move on, yet we struggled in 2010 because of it. Jason Garrett is building pieces for not just now but the future, but takes time. Mark my words championships are coming to this team, but wil take just alittle time now, with players that Jason Garrett is getting as leaders, captains, work hard, love the game, give heart and 110 %, not just 75 %.

And the LORD rewards, when you do what he wants you to do:Watch at 5:10
