LOL, somehow I wish I worded that one line a little differently. Geez, folks can hone in on one small phrase like nobody's business.

But to the point, I think that signing had everything to do with Romo's back and Orton's wishy-washy comments about retiring.

i just feel that garrett has had power (or not had power) in this organization for 6 years now and it is laughable to now put all the good decisions at his door and the bad ones on JJ

6 years into this relationship jerry didnt suddenly wake up one morning and say to garrett "my bad, this is your ship to run now", neither did garrett suddenly develop the cojones to face up to jerry

jerry is still the main decision maker, garrett is still a jelly fish

they are both who they are, incompetent at what they do, hoping for a miracle

We could simply get a young, promising QB and groom him when Romo goes down, because that is a major need. It's much better than putting your trust in a guy that is just horrible.
