2000 Jerry trades 2 first round pix to Seattle for JOEY GALLOWAY and gives him 50 million or some ungodly number with about a 10 million SBonus. (I'm sure TIM BROWN would have taken that deal)

2000 and 2001 the Sehawks draft ALEXANDER and Koren ROBINSON

2004 BILL trades JOEY for KEY. (Key was kicked off the team and had zero trade value as we see with TO and the Eagles)

2004 No Players from the 2000 and 2001 drafts make the opening day roster.

2005 Joey Galloway makes the PRO BOWL
Koren Robinson makes the PRO BOWL
Shawn Alexander is NFLs MVP

2006 Cowboys release KEYSHAWN JOHNSON.

Funny thing.. I feel partially responsible. That off-season I e-mailed Jerry Jones directly (crazy enough, his e-mail address was listed publically for a brief period of time on the DNS info for dallascowboys.com) and urged him to trade for Galloway. I said as a fan I would buy a jersey the day the deal happened, and it did, and I did. So blame me!

Seriously though, it seemed like a fine thing to do at the time. We were still holding on to the 90's, we had Dave Campo who was going to revive the Ernie Zampese offense, all Troy needed was another weapon! Who knew we'd run into pickle juice, Troy would get hurt in week 1 and Galloway would tear his ACL playing meaningless minutes in the 4th quarter of a blowout.

Joey had 1300 yards last year thats PROBOWL material but if u wanna split hairs... no but really I thought he was an alternate!!! I could be wrong I didnt research any of it just going off of memory...


It really doesnt matter because KOREN ROBINSON made the PRO BOWL as a returner! So it was actually a good trade!

My bad on the JOEY stat he did not make the "Probowl" but did finish 6 in yards and (7) catches 2cd in TDs with SIMMS/Greise as his QB. thats a PRO BOWL type season he just didnt win the popularity vote... not bad for a guy who was traded for someone who was KICKED OFF the team!!!
