You buy into it since you continue to follow and watch them.
No, you don’t have to buy into to follow and watch your team. Fans who continue following dormant and or unsuccessful teams don’t have to believe.

I’ve followed and watched my Alma Mater all my life as well without needing to buy in or believe . They have suked more often than having success.

Cowboys are my local team, I’ll always follow with critical thinking while cheering them on without the need to believe.

I'm still not sure why they let a bunch of position coaches go who's positions had NOTHING to do with the problem.

Dak is still this team's franchise QB. Jerry Jones insinuated it is ludicrous to even think about getting rid of Dak. Michael Irvin downright said it's plain stupid to even think of getting rid of Dak. Bill Parcells even said Dak might not be among the very top QBs, but you can certainly reach and win a SB with Dak. Babe Laufenberg said Dak is good enough to win it all with. Showing support for how these distinguished gentleman feel about keeping Dak is not mindless stupidity. What is mindless stupidity is continuing to follow a team which clearly does not side with your point of view.
Jethro isn’t distinguished. But the fact you’ve become one of our owners supporters explains where your loyalties are as he’s Daks biggest fan.

And Irvin is one of the Cowboys biggest homers as well. If you want align with them as a Dak Homer, that’s fine.

It’s amazing homers can’t grasp that part of staying loyal can’t include critical thinking. Whether it’s your favorite team, school, business , leaders or country which are all great examples.

How many of us don’t always agree with our leaders point of view or policies or even the direction we are going but still support our country.

I’ve often argued you don’t have to support all of the moving pieces to support the sum.

It’s just more attempts to discredit those who don’t share your point of view instead of arguing the issues.

It portrays or presents a perception they are taking action to correct a problem without replacing those with more authority,

Basically using them as scapegoats to deflect and or deter their position. Fire or replace the guy below you before they come after you.

It usually at least buys you more time and it helps satisfy those needing some heads to roll.

You're the one lacking critical thinking by even thinking there is a way to trade, cut or get rid of Dak. Bottom line, he's not going anywhere for any reason because he's still under a big contract, plus he carries a 'no tag or trade' clause in his current contract. Refusing to accept that while trying in any way to demand he get taken off the team is beyond lacking any critical thinking.

ok... exactly WHO had any thought that Quinns head might roll? at least 2 of the coaches were defense.

Who said anything about trading or releasing Dak. You’ve seen and liked my post in the subjects following the loss Sunday. I certainly haven’t suggested that’s a possibility.

Anyone who doesn’t realize Dak is staying here don’t grasp the situation very well. That said fans are still allowed to voice their opinions. And after Sundays performance it’s understandable the frustration.

I guess you have missed all of the rhetoric on firing McCarthy and Moore if we didn’t have more success. Some of those coaches released were offensive too with OL and RB coaches.

But no, Dans job was probably the only one this year not threatened.

Correct, just like fans of Dak and the team have the right to voice their opinions and support as well.

Yes, without personal insults and attacks on each other. Stick to arguing the issues.

But if you align yourself with certain personalities then be prepared to be labeled as such.

Just like I’d call out those who align with trolls like Stephen A or Cowturd I’d also call out those aligning themselves with homers like Jethro and Irvin.

It is what it is. I’m always about calling out both extreme sides because most fans are more in the middle.

Unfortunately these extremes often try to dominate the airwaves.

The team that took the field last Sunday very clearly showed you they were capable of moving on except for one position. Jones have faults for sure but bottom line they assembled a team that was capable except they misjudged the most important position a few years back.

Put any number of QB's on the field and we are preparing to play this weekend.
But if they missed the most important position on the team, by definition Jones didn't assemble a team capable of moving on.
With two exceptions you have to spend a 1st or 2nd round pick on a QB to stand a chance.
The last time Jones did that was 1989.
That's not changing anytime soon.

Not me ! I try to tell you guys, and all people stop with BS. If Championships is your mark , you are going to be disappointed MOST YEARS, because most teams, don't win it all. Now this year Dallas went 12-5 and won a playoff game, away

from home against Tom Brady. Our Defense looked promising Our pariah of a QB, The worse man ever to pick up a football, Can't read the most basic of defenses and is just a dumb...........Well even he had a year in which he QB the team

one game away from the conference championship. Who knows maybe next year our luck will be better. But I'll tell you this I'm gonna enjoy FOOTBALL either way.

I have always questioned grown men and why they get so invested in whether or not a Team that has nothing to do with them, they derive no financial reward from wins a championship. I mean if your getting thrown out of your Domicile, and

Dallas wins a championship, aren't you still a homeless SOB ? But I digress, football is an distraction something to get away and focus on, a hobby if you will.. Watching the Dallas Cowboys play football brings me joy, whether it's pre season,

Regular season and for the past two years, they've been a playoff team. I don't go through anything it's always wait til next year for me, 1-16 or Super Bowl Champ. Wait til next year!!!

GO COWBOYS
We've been disappointed for 27 years in a row and obviously you don't understand fandom.

Dak's not going anywhere but he's not going to win us anything. Same thing we did with with Garrett. We just have to wait it out. We all know how it's going to end. Had a bunch of Garrett supporters saying he was the next Tom Landry and another team would snatch him up. Now crickets.

Dak did not play well. But you are making the mistake the Jonesboys made....the 49ers are better than us. They are better than us at a LOT of positions. Starting with head coach and play caller. And let me not leave out the front office and culture. Accross multiple regimes...they have gone to NFC title games with Alex Smith...they have gone to Super Bowls with Kap...they have gone to Super Bowls with Grappalo, they are 1 game away with Mr Irrelevant. I am not lover or hater of Dak...but the gap between the divisional round and the title game is bigger than Dak. We are on a 28 year drought for MULTIPLE reasons!
I have said numerous times before & after that the 9ers were the overall more complete team and would be a handful. However, the best team doesn't always win. Last Sunday we did everything we needed to do to defeat them other than get a clean productive game from our QB. Our defense shut down their running game and Deebo (which I wasn't sure we could do). If we don't have the turnovers, we have the lead early and put pressure on them and their QB. Their secondary is beatable. We had opportunities to make big plays but the QB couldn't get it done. So, no sir, I have to respectfully disagree. Dak is THE reason our season ended.

Maybe Sunday was our only day we could have beaten them. But on Sunday everyone else did their job well enough.

The teams winning Super Bowls or even getting close to winning SBs…all have owners that understand something our owner refuses to accept- the winning owners of the last 27 SBs ALL hired someone else as their GM. Look at the teams competing for SBs and who there GM is:
  • Rams- GM Les Snead- age 52- taken rams to two SBS in last 5 years, winning one.
  • Chiefs- Brett Veach- age 45- taken team to two SBs in last 5 years, winning one.
  • Bucs- Jason Licht- age 51- won SB in 2020
  • 49ers- John Lynch- age 51- taken niners to one SB and in NFC championship this year.
  • eagLes- Howie Roseman- age 47- Won SB in 2017 and about to play in NFC championship.
This list could go on. All these GMs are young, aggressive and fully understand how to put together a winning roster. When Stephen Jones talks about how the Cowboys have to be careful with the cap, these guys say, “Hold my beer”.

Our GM is 80 and hasn’t sniffed a divisional playoff win since 1995. Until that CHANGES, not expecting much different.

Stop expecting more, it is not going to get better. They have run the show for over 25 years. Jerry is 80 years old and no other NFL team would hire his son.

12 wins and a wild card playoff victory is as good as it gets. They're not going to crack the code. If they could, they would've done it already. This is our fate.

usa_today_16649051.0.jpg
Yep, that's about sums it up.
Now we wait out Jerry's mortality
Hoping things will get better once Jerry moves on.
Kinda a sad way to follow your team.

Nah the problem is Jerry and Stephen. It has always been that way and it will always be.
That may be true but that has nothing to do with a specific game. What happened on the field last Sunday is there for everyone to see. We did not get outplayed. We gifted them the game.
