Just think if they beat the Eagles next week.
They certainly can, but they need some of their defensive starters to come back.
They have to find a way to survive today as well. If they end up 3+ wins back of both Washington and Philly next week really doesn’t matter all that much.
They also need the offense to pull their heads out of their butts. It won't matter if all the defensive starters return if the offense can't put any points on the board.
Like they say, when life gives you lemons you need to make lemonade. Take this opportunity to play all your young guys and anyone else that needs experience and/or evaluation. Trade everybody that has value and isn't a key player in your immediate future, all progress stoppers, Clean freaking house and get yourself better draft picks at the same time!

I wouldn't call those last three seasons over achieving to be honest. On paper this group of players should have been a serious contender. The talent was there. Several reasons held us back. First and foremost the inconsistent play of our QB. Secondly the FO never took the risk (in investing draft picks) to add those one or two missing pieces. Thirdly, the performance of all parts of the team never really reached their max at the same time. It was always one part not meeting it's goals. And lastly our leadership never really was worth the name. Whether it's Dak, the coaches, the FO... they have been all either divas or lame ducks.
that is all the jones want from this team.
