Something that's overlooked is I know we bash Jerry about being his own GM but pretty sure coaches love working directly with him as GM and owner.

You have heard me for weeks stating that we need an HC with clout. One who they respect that can convince them some changes are needed for the better. The process of just drafting/developing and resigning hasn't worked. The problem here is that Stephen has always overvalued his home grown talent, waits to the last second and gives them above market deals cause they were drafted by the team and have no replacement on the roster.

How long did that last? Jerry hired Parcells to get a stadium. Parcells took the job because he needed the money because of a divorce. I still believe Kellen Moore is the front runner to get the job.

For the Jones family to have to make drastic changes, another 12-5 season with an early elimination would not even move the needle, they would even consider extending MM. This team appears destined to be irreverent by thanksgiving, which will put the pressure on them to change their ways. Will it work? Time will tell, but what hurts them the most is being outside the spotlight and them being a non playoff team does that!

They aren't going to change. They can now point to a plethora of injuries as cause. I can already hear Jerry in February before jetting off to spend the offseason on his yacht: " Well, if you uhh look at it, we were were right in the uhhh thick of it until Dak tore his hammy. We win that Atlanta game and we are .500 heading in the right uhhh direction with Parsons coming back"

They will never admit fault or DO anything compensate for their own shortcomings.
