This is not a Dak thread, this is not a defense thread. This is about the decision to “rest” 3 offensive lineman because of arrogance and stupidity.

This loss screams Jerry calling Mike and saying “well uhhh Mike uh we got this game in the bag, let’s uh rest anyone with a minor ding and uh Arizona is a lay up” and Mike in typical Dallas HC fashion decides to sit 3 OL starters.

Y’all can try and tell me they were actually hurt but I would bet the house that if this was the Eagles or Niners everyone plays. This is the culture in Dallas. And this is why it doesn’t matter what’s on the field as long as Jerry is in the owners suite above it.

I hope this serves as a wake up call but this team is as soft as charmin. I can’t believe they lost Diggs and this is how they came out. Flat, unprepared, and looking beyond the team in front of them. I can’t say I’m shocked. They do this all the time.

It's frustrating that it happens this much with this team. We better beat the brakes off the Patriots after this.

Don't worry the team will coast into the playoffs and flip the magic switch. Good to go.
Right? Lol different year, same team. Entitled spoiled brats who haven’t earned anything but think they deserve the world.

Y’all gotta stop drinking the kool aid every time we win a game or two.
No one drank any kool aid. As long as Jerry is in charge this team won’t win a damn thing. The fact that players can go speak to him directly instead of a coach tells me everything I need to know about this team. You need to read Jimmy’s book. It gives you a whole new understanding of Jerry’s narcissism

Tyron needs to retire. He's holding this team hostage at this point.

I can't even articulate how furious I was every time the camera panned over to him on the sidelines yesterday, dressed and not playing.
I am pretty sick of watching him play with those stupid leg braces on his arms. I have zero confidence that the guy will be on the field playing well in the playoffs. Has been that way for a long time now.

They didn't "rest" the offensive linemen, they were injured!

So who are you really blaming? Jerry the ring master or MM the puppet for caving and giving Jerry what he wants?

Holding the team hostage by taking a pay cut in the off-season* and never worrying about money over team? Dallas could of cut him like they did Zeke but the front office decided to keep him. He’s not holding anyone hostage.

I would say that was what Martin was doing a few months ago but he’s the messiah to some here.

Seemed like Smith wanted to play. Not like he was on the bench partying it up while the team was losing.

*has to play over 90% of snaps to make back his base pay. Shaved millions off the 2023 cap for his cut.

Not saying you did but people around here absolutely drunk the kool aid...there were plenty of threads about us being the most dominant defense, and arizona was gonna be easy. A guy made a thread about how he didnt think AZ was gonna be easy and we could lose, and the responses were not agreeable lol.

Interesting. I wondered if the Cowboys took the Cardinals lightly and rested them in an effort to make sure they were healthy for the upcoming SF game.

Whoever came up with the "plan" for the OL is a cretin. Same with the, "well, we have a bunch of safeties, so we don't need many LBs" philosophy. Just atrocious.
