Tyron needs to retire. He's holding this team hostage at this point.

I can't even articulate how furious I was every time the camera panned over to him on the sidelines yesterday, dressed and not playing.
Maybe he was PISSED that he wasn’t playing, and they kept him OUT!!!

I totally agree with the OP if we were playing a tough team. Martin and Smith are playing 100%. I don’t think Biadasz could have played. This team read press clippings and all this Super Bowl talk got to their heads. This was a nice humbling wake up call!!!

It's Fish but he nailed this one IMO.....this is on MM and especially Quinn, who's getting a free pass for some reason.

BTW OP.......all things considered, the OL actually very well.

I think they took the Cards lightly and assumed our defense would bring us the win.

Tyron could've played. Obviously. And considering Edoga was the worst of the three new starters, it could've made a difference.

They got cute looking ahead.

So who are you really blaming? Jerry the ring master or MM the puppet for caving and giving Jerry what he wants?
Surely was blaming Jethro. Not sure our puppet coaches have a choice.

I suppose we can blame them for being puppets but that comes with the job here.

I think some fans have wanted to believe this HC isn’t a puppet here.

The most important thing is how they respond against the Patriots.

The move to rest 3 OL was a calculated and perhaps somewhat necessary move that was not the reason they lost the game. The defense was historically bad giving up more rushing yards in the first half since 91. They made Dobbs look like Kurt Warner. It was sickening to see the huge, open lanes the Cardinals had to run and throw into. All three levels of the D wet the bed yesterday and there is no other reason why they loss so badly.

Not saying you did but people around here absolutely drunk the kool aid...there were plenty of threads about us being the most dominant defense, and arizona was gonna be easy. A guy made a thread about how he didnt think AZ was gonna be easy and we could lose, and the responses were not agreeable lol.
that guy writes it about all games just to be able to say, see see told you

Yep, we can't rely on him for a full season. Time to move on.

This is not a Dak thread, this is not a defense thread. This is about the decision to “rest” 3 offensive lineman because of arrogance and stupidity.

This loss screams Jerry calling Mike and saying “well uhhh Mike uh we got this game in the bag, let’s uh rest anyone with a minor ding and uh Arizona is a lay up” and Mike in typical Dallas HC fashion decides to sit 3 OL starters.

Y’all can try and tell me they were actually hurt but I would bet the house that if this was the Eagles or Niners everyone plays. This is the culture in Dallas. And this is why it doesn’t matter what’s on the field as long as Jerry is in the owners suite above it.

I hope this serves as a wake up call but this team is as soft as charmin. I can’t believe they lost Diggs and this is how they came out. Flat, unprepared, and looking beyond the team in front of them. I can’t say I’m shocked. They do this all the time.
As always these bug losses are a ream loss. About the only guy that cant be blamed for this loss is pollard and gallup.

coaching staff really failed in this one.

The Cowboys are the same team they have been…there is an arrogance about them that they can just show up and will win the game. They are resting on accomplishments from 27 years ago.
The Cowboys are great at beating teams who just roll over like the Giants and Jets; but when a team punches them in the mouth they fold like a chaise lounge; Dallas is soft and have difficult time matching the physicality of other teams; they look for excuses when they get beat; they blame the refs or injuries, which all teams have to suffer through during the season.
Dallas can’t score consistently in the end zone and the defense remains porous; now the secondary is impacted with the loss of Diggs. I think people who are touting the Cowboys as Super Bowl champions or that their defense is the second-coming of Doomsday after just two games need to temper their expectations.

Interesting. I wondered if the Cowboys took the Cardinals lightly and rested them in an effort to make sure they were healthy for the upcoming SF game.
that is exactly similar my thinking...and we know if you start thinking too far ahead it often does not bode well for you

He’s drawing a paycheck period. I’m convinced He doesn’t really want to play anymore.

They didn't "rest" the offensive linemen, they were injured!
Exactly, unless someone from the Coaching staff comes out and confirms this, its a false narrative and should cease in its propagation. No one but pundits and people on this board have even suggested this is happening. Of course its the same pundits and people on this board who insist the Cardinals are tanking.

As long as decisions on the field come from the front office, this team will lose.

Those that don't know, point fingers. It's part of the game. Simple as that.
