How many 3 and outs did the defense have??. The defense never scored a point or got a turnover. You are clueless if you say the defense did not lose the game in the end. Good defenses make that stop in the end. And that pathetic end of the first half performance where they just let Tua just March down the field was terrible. Tua did not have much pressure all game. Tua was off target on alot of throws to wide open recievers. I knew that defense was not gonna get an end of the game stop because they rarely if ever do. You watched the game, right??
You have now done a marvelous job at describing yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is just an olio of details thrown together. Try again, you've failed to make a point.

Very Disappointed in both Luepke and Vaughn who when drafted looked to be solid additions.
Luepke, before the fumble, has been good every time they've given him the ball. Not sure why you'd be disappointed in a player who doesn't get a chance.

Let me try to dumb it down for you. The defense lost the game and did not play great during the game.

Sure, there are a ton of reasons that contributed to the loss. But, without the fumble by a slow, below average rookie, and without the ineptness of a waste of a roster spot LT, we probably win this game!
Both Luepke and Edoga would not earn a practice squad spot on most teams. We must do better at those positions!! They should both be fired the day after Christmas.
Who made the call for them to get the ball? They don't get a free pass.

Edoga was awful.

Luepke was coaching.
To me they're both coaching/front office. Tyron had proven he can't stay healthy. Tyler played very well at LT all last year!!! Tyler should have kicked out to LT and stayed there. Edoga is a guard. He should be serving as the LG. Tyron should have been traded for assets long ago.

Tyron is great when healthy, but he's not healthy.

Exactly what did we do in the 2nd and 3rd quarter? Not a damn thing, this game was lost right there, and the stupidest thing they did was stop targeting Lamb when he clearly was cooking after that first TD drive. I get the fumble on the goaline was huge, but we have a better offense then just scoring 20pts, that's ******** to me. That's coaching!!

The Fan Boys here are not going to like the real motivation on the Cowboys keeping Tyler at Guard.

You are 100% incorrect. You are saying that every play after the missed TD is the exact same call, action and result. You can’t simply add seven and call it a 27-22 victory. What if they did score the TD but Miami ran the kickoff back for a TD? Every play would have been different thereafter with varying results.

I do admit that it hurt and changed the tune of the game, Dallas might have even won. It’s the butterfly effect which has been mentioned. It did cost them seven points but it is asinine to blame the loss on that fumble, Dallas had plenty of chances to add to their lead if they played a competent 2nd and 3rd quarter.
I think we easily win. 14-3 is a totally different ballgame that probably makes them press earlier and abandon the run. The first 2 drives should have been td. The down south education is showing in this thread my lord

You started out sincere and I was going to let it go until you got personal with the last sentence. I don’t even know you but I can guarantee that my education trumps yours tenfold.

Luepke is not a ball handler. I bet he doesn't get 5 practice snaps during the week. MM got too cute.

Edoga is a backup. If Dak wasn't making a quarter of the team's salary cap, maybe we could have afforded to shore up the backup positions on the OL.

Be thankful it wasn't Chaz Green out there.
When we had Dak on a rookie contract, what 'aggressive moves' did we do with the 'freed up cap space'? Absolutely nothing.

They didn’t lose because of Luepke, that was the opening drive. Now, Edoga should have had more help, get a TE or two next to him. There were far bigger issues than the early fumble.
Edoga didn't need help on the field, he needed help in his head. Kept on collapsing inward when it wasn't required, leaving a free runner on the edge.

His problems were mental. Having a TE next to him wouldn't fix his brain, though at least there would have been one warm body there as an obstacle to the free rusher.

Play Richards. I'd rather live with mental mistakes from a rookie we're developing than put up with it in a veteran we hire on a 1 year contract.

If a coach closes his eyes and picks someone in the stands and gives them the ball to score a TD is it the person in the stands fault or the coaches fault?

I actually still like the guy I think his biggest problem he's not getting enough snacks to get comfortable and in my opinion I think he felt that ball was gonna be an RPO and that Prescott was gonna pull the ball back and take it himself because he never reached for the football it was not a bad handoff but he never acted like he was supposed to grab the football so he's either a big mental gap because it was a big part of the game and maybe he just got nervous and didn't reach for the football but that really looked like a man who thought the ball was gonna be fake to him and then pulled back out...

I actually wanna see more of hunter I think that he him not being played more and more the last six weeks is a Mike McCarthy problem he is not being utilized properly just like Tony Pollard is being overused in short yardage and I believe maybe him not getting enough snaps has hunter a little behind and I wanna see more of him I wanna see that game plan again from now on all the way through the playoffs I wanna see all our running backs and fullbacks being utilized in short yardage and start taking the ball out of Tony's hands an obvious short yardage and goal line and let Tony have his burst back and rest his legs... I actually liked that game plan and I wanna see more of it how do you like that I like hunter I just think he needs to get comfortable and he hasn't had a chance to do that this year
Oh we could have handed to Vaughn lol that was a total wasted pic I guess they thought he was gonna be next Darren sproles or maybe they picked him cause of his dad totally crazy pick

Yeah not scoring on the half yard line on first and goal was no big deal....

Good grief the posts get even more dumb by the day.

It doesn't matter if that was on the first drive or the final drive-it was part of the game and cost the offense 7 points.
