If a loss can never be on our QB solely, then one mistake by a special teams player shouldn't be allowed as well. If you want to point blame, start with Mike our coach. Game management is still an issue. Rico was doing just fine, but for SOME reason we went pass pass pass, as if you want to put that much trust in Rush.

The poor tackling on the Chase touchdown catch

Not sacking Burrow but allowing him on multiple occasions to climb the pocket and move around to avoid the rush.

This loss isn't on one player, let's be fair! Please give your thoughts
It’s a team game. Always will be. But that’s not putting any credit to Cooper Rush. He’s a good back up and that’s it. your back up quarterback is supposed to be able to take over the starting position permanently at some point. And we don’t have that guy.

Rush sucks always has but did he really look that much worse than Dak has the first 8 games.
Imagine having a backup quarterback that is poor by any measure. Long and short of it is Jerry isn’t a good GM and MM isn’t a top HC.
That’s our reality until the Jones family sells the team but most of us will be dead by then.

yeah many to blame for this loss including the coaches.
But what usually gets the blame are these things that happen late in the game.
That play and mistake did allow Cin a great chance to win the game and they did. But a game isnt really lost on what happens at the end.

Anyone should see that rush isnt going to win the game passing alot, it needs to be run alot , and rico and the OL have shown they can do
it but mike forgets who his qb is, and keeps calling same ol passes everyone knows.
They also cant pass protect for rush, so another reason to run more, but mike just ignores that and calls more passes lol.

This doesn't really compare to what happened with Leon Lett.

Leon Lett sought out that ball. In this case It seemed that the ball flew straight to AO and he instinctively tried to grab it. It was less than a half second reaction.

I'm not excusing it. Clearly, he should have understood exactly what NOT to do. I'm just saying I wouldn't kill his career over it.

It's just one of those seasons that wasn't meant to be. The misfortunes began way long before that game.

That's my point, it's NEVER allowed to be only dak's fault, so how is it only on this player
Coogiguy03......I'm confused......I thought it was always Dak's fault on here......or Zeke, even when spelling Dowdle for a play or two?

Not to my knowledge. Dak could throw for 9 int's, he could hand the ball off to the defense, costing us a loss and it would never be his fault

sure does a lot of COMMUNITY service out there on the field!!!! lol
The most admirable thing about Dakota is his ability to aquire wealth ( I'm a capitalist at heart) and his choice of women....she's got a fat rack.

That's my message of positivity towards Rayne.

Good call! Not just a back up but at least POSSIBLY your next starter. Jerry knows coop isn't that but he's just been lazy about it. His oil man gamble seems to have flopped?

My bad Coogiguy03.......I would be alarmed when we do see hate on Dak or Zeke on this board. That's scary and a need for personal security.
