It's not just the Coaching, This team also doesn't have true leaders on the field. Talent wins you games in the regular season. Leadership is needed in the playoffs. The fact that this team never kicks it up a notch and plays playoffs caliber football shows that the culture is rotten and there are no true leaders on the team.
Yep. But most were legitimate penalties. Nothing overly iffy. The only negative comment I have about the officiating is Lane Johnson false started several times without being called. One probably save a safety in the 2nd quarter. But SF wasn’t going to win this game with Purdy or Johnson.
Score at will? Did you see what SF did to them most of the first half until QB Johnson gave them the fumbled snap? Purdy controlled? He was 4-4 for 23 yards. He only had 2 attempts before injury and could throw when he came back in as emergency QB. You can’t judge anything by this game. SF’s offense had no QB so the defense was out there most of the game.
