I guess you missed the Bucs game. We definitely kicked it up a notch. Bucs with Brady had spanked us twice the last two years.

Plenty of leaders on the team. Problem is one of them is the horrid Zeke and we depend on him greatly for some reason.

I respect your perspective on that, but I just didn't see the game the same way. To me the Wildcards games often have teams in them that aren't Playoff caliber. Brady looked horrid and in my perspective the game felt more like a regular season game. Once we faced a real playoff team we got burnt.

Yes the first quarter the 49ers defense held . but at the end of the day the eagles rushed 150 yards on them and averaged 8.1 yards per pass. Of course the QB gettting injured changes the gameplan. But i did not see that monster physical 49ers team that is unbeatable. Hurts was sacked once. Cowboys scored only 12 points !!! that won't cut it.

Now you know why Moore had to go ......... hoping a change of coaching will improve Dak. We shall see.

The cowboys had no running threat outside of pollard. They were actually moving the ball well while he was in. The eagles have 3 good RBs and a good running QB. There’s no comparison in personnel.

The Eagles had less than 300 yards vs the Whiners. Mistakes, injuries, and penalties killed the Whiners.

When Pollard went out Moore should have given Davis a chance to play. He is way faster, way quicker and can catch the ball really good out of the backfield. When Jerry fired Kellon Moore he should have asked him, why didn’t you at least give Davis a series or 2?

Embarassing that Dallas only managed to score 12 points on the 49ers. Sure the QB being down is an issue. but the 49ers are absolutely beatable and their defense can be run on . Dallas had neither on offense to take advantage. 12 points says it all.
On defense , there are issues as the 49ers offense is not a world beater.

The Eagles only had an expected points scored of 11. I think like 120 yards passing and 3.6 ypa rushing… The Eagles won due to turnovers and the fact SF didn’t have any more QB’s after Purdy and Johnson both went down. The cherry on top was the SF penalties and other officiating decisions that helped out Philly as well. They did about as well as the Dallas offense, but without the turnovers… that’s the difference right there. No turnovers and the Cowboys probably win.

2022 was his FOURTH TIME being with the 49ers.
Been in the NFL since 2008 -- with 14 different teams (along with being a few other lesser pro football leagues along the way).
Even with limited reps in training camps, preseasons, and regular seasons --- plus thrown in unexpectedly in a playoff championship game --- Josh Johnson did not play like a QB with a decade and a half experience in American professional football.

I think the 49ers offense is very good. The Cowboys just have a very good defense. And they came to play and win. Bottom line is our O wasn't that good. Our weapons are Pollard and Lamb, that's it. What do you expect? Don't go by people throwing up yearly stats as if that matters. We're not going to face the crap we faced during the regular season in the playoffs. We just didn't get the luxury of playing against QB Josh Johnson.

Most of the FA departures this season were on offense and we did very little to replace them until late in the year when we got an old Ty Hilton, who somehow waltzed in and arguably became the 2nd best receiver.

Coaching and talent matters. This team completely turned around when Quinn got here. We need someone to come in and bring in discipline on the offense and creative schemes.

Philly didn’t do anything today either. The TO’s and no QB did them in

Eagle seem to run the ball when they wanted to. 49ers seemed to take cheap shots throughout and it costs them. From my view they were just overmatched. They were good on defense but their weakness was definitely the run. We didn't run anywhere near enough, or control the ball we had a pass rush just not to the extent the Eagles did. That made all the difference in the world. I would improve our pass rush in the draft, and free agency.

agree. the QB touches all the offensive plays and can audible and as we see can lose the game for you. The running game failure did not help . Zeke was absoluteyly worthless and it showed
