This makes 27 teams

No, just think man. They can break the Chicago Cubs professional sports teams all time championship drought record of 108 years if they try really hard.

They're at a 26 year drought now. So, 83 more years and that record is the Cowboys.

That's exciting and a record to surely strive for right?

I mean they'd be number one at not only revenue.

hahaha, i'm pretty sure the guy i quoted would be perfectly fine with that....no other team did it, so that makes us winners right? lol

Winning the division and being 12 and 5 isn't being a loser. Being a cry baby when your team is doing better than the majority of the league is being a loser. It's a fact that more than half the league hasn't won the Super Bowl since the Cowboys did and 12 of them have never won the Super Bowl. It is a hard thing to win the Super Bowl especially in these modern times.

dude, you can keep holding on to the regular season record as much as you want but it doesn't change that 27 other teams have surpassed us in some form since then. If you want to cling to the regular season, we don't even have the best win-loss record in our division since our last SB...so what does that make us? it doesn't make us winners, it makes us Lew-Who, Za-Hers!

EXACTLY.
Yeah, I don't understand some people's standards of so called success and I won't lower mine in order to sound like I fit in either.

To think how far that standards bar has lowered.
Pathetic.

Good/average QB play can get you to the play-offs but unless the rest of the team is championship caliber, you need more from your QB in the post-season. Just ask Ryan Tannehill in crunch time.

I will give Tannehill a break (even though he may be on another team after today). Actually, Tannehill and the Titans went to the AFC championship game in 2019 vs the Chiefs. Also, he knows he's a bus driver. Dak doesn't know he's a bus driver.

Yup, this used to be a premier franchise and now they are bottom of the barrel. Great job Jerrah!

What’s this prove?

The Cowboys are on a historically inept run here the last 20 years.
The were not run badly this year. They went from 5 and 11 to 12 and 5 and were an exciting team to watch all year long.

They lost another home playoff game and failed to sniff a NFC CHamp game.

They failed AGAIN this year. Like they have for two decades.

I keep saying Jerry Jones is today's Connie Mack.
Mack, the manager and GM for the Philadelphia A's from 1901-1950. He wanted his team's to be good enough in the regular season to bring in the fans, but didn't want to win a championship so he didn't have to pay them.

I'm not very sure Jerry Jones cares about winning championships any more. He's box office - and we fans have to suffer.

Perspective: Joe Burrow wasn’t even born the last time that the Dallas Cowboys reached a Conference Championship Game.

He literally lived his whole life, had football success, won a National Championship, got drafted into the NFL by the Cincinnati Bengals, and still beat the Cowboys to a conference championship.
