This makes me sad

Meh...I remember a good portion of the fan base wanting him gone because he was "soft." Just because you were good doesn't mean you can coach.

Come on guys, if Jerry really wanted him coaching here, he would have made it happen somehow. We simply probably weren't that interested in hiring him.

So fans using this as another reason to find fault with the team.

Who says he will be automatically a good coach. He may not bring them anything. Heck, People like Leon Lett, I like Leon Lett, but I don't think he is all that of a good coach just because he was a good player. What DT's has he truly developed or helped?

But fans will blame away as usual.
Leon Lett? Wasn't he the one who started 'partying' b-4 a surefire T.D. against the Dolphins & that score would've been a record breaker for most points scored at that time?

* some fans, just like the "anti- #38" crew can still hold petty grudges TOOo_O

Same player different plays.

Leon celebrated too early on the potential TD against Buffalo in SB 27.
The play against the Dolphins was when he tried to recover the blocked FG attempt, giving the ball back to Miami to try again, and they made it. That was on T-Day the following year.

Just imagine if this site was up and running back in those 2 years. :muttley:

I hear you. He is a high character guy and super talented so I think he could be decent. No guarantees though. My issue is that I wish the guy got his in Dallas. Sad a great one had to leave to get a title. I never thought he was soft.

* o.k. I'd just 'clicked' the O.P.'s link,,,it's obvious to me,that the former #94 sampled the buffet offered from both franchises operational structure and his decision was easy to makeo_O

As for weather too?

I am a red state guy if you know what I mean so TX is always better than CO. That said Denver is a cool town. Beautiful. The Rockies right there. Stays pretty comfortable in the winter all things considered. Dallas is a weird town IMO. Disconnected. Austin and San Antonio are my favorite TX cities. This coming from a NYer so take that for what it’s worth. I will also add I hate NY.

The whole state of Colorado is a completely different land(I've romped& stomped freighting new mobile homes outta phoenix pretty regular) Fort Collins up north on the end of I-25 is yuppyville where a practical application type of cat could write is own ticket to easyville,Craig, rifle, steamboat springs are all quaint homey/ hi-dollar little burgs( actually the skirts of Craig& rifle kinda resemble parts of the fallout4 video game),,,Durango is a veritable sportsmans Paradise & Cortez is flint sharp& hard scrabble land,,,,
My folks bought my mom's dad a 1940's built house up in Fort Lyons ,,,I think I drove up there in '95' for his 90th birthday celebration, a whole passel of kin folk were in attendance,,, that house was pretty freaking cool just from studying upon the old school tounge-n-groove flooring, tennions, braced gussets & such in it's craftsmanship:thumbup:

...“pass rushing consultant on a part-time basis”... “a few times a month”...

Sounds like a REALLY IMPORTANT career move, lol!

Guessing it’s more likely D-Ware simply prefers living in Denver.
