Another thing to give them credit for. They ruined us again. And it all started with that packers loss last year.

Talent doesn’t matter when it’s not being coached up. This team needs proper coaching bad. Too many high picks not even getting on the filled. Bones and Al Harris seem to be getting the most out of their unit. Probably linebackers coach too:Irrelevant. We need a huge infusion of talent. A leget HC could speed up the rebuild, that is true.
A drop in a player's speed is a common thing after an hamstring injury. A slower Dak at a stage where people are already saying he is too slow and worn doesn't seem like an ideal situation to me. To me Dak already was having a bad season, looking old, slow and worn. I just don't think he is going to be rejuvenated next year, and you guys will see the quarterback again who you used to refer to as top 5. I think that Dak is gone. I expect a version less athletic than this years version.I mean he has a hamstring issue not a torn acl so if anyone liked Dak last year they should still like him now. Listening to people most people seem to think Mike is inept. Ben Johnson isn’t that.
Longer ago than that. This is the worst team since the 5-11 seasons.I haven't seen the Cowboys this bad since what 2015 when we started Matt Cassel due to Romo injury.
It's all because Quincy gave someone his seal of approvalLonger ago than that. This is the worst team since the 5-11 seasons.
I remember it well. #2 pick in the draft and the rest is history... now ancient history. How about when they were bad enough to be able to draft Troy Aikman?
I mean you’re entitled to that. I think coaches around the league think higher of him then you do.A drop in a player's speed is a common thing after an hamstring injury. They didn't come out physical. They blitzed like 6 guys. Dared Fields to pass, but he's such a terrible passer he wasn't able to take advantage. You must’ve not read the whole post. I didn’t say it was weird they won. I said it was weird how they came out physical. Feel how you want about them but not many teams go to Pitt and out physical them. That’s what was weird.
I think they may have reevaluated their standings of him by now. I mean, I thought Dak was much better than he turned out to be at the beginning of this season. I knew he would have it a lot rougher this season than previous season because the running game was obviously going to be bad and we lost talent on the offensive line and got replacements that wouldn't be up to par in such a short time period.I mean you’re entitled to that. I think coaches around the league think higher of him then you do.
They did a damn good job of holding Pickens and that run game. They didn't come out physical. They blitzed like 6 guys. Dared Fields to pass, but he's such a terrible passer he wasn't able to take advantage.
All threewhich one?
Gotta agree here.Actually, with the players on this team and how they've played, dak, lamb, Martin, TSmith,Ferg, Parsons, diggs,tank,..this might be the worst cowboys team ever
This is excellent work. It confirms what my eyes sees.In a decade?
Forget their record, I just looked at their NFL rankings in five categories: Offensive Passing, Offensive Rushing, Defensive Passing, Offensive Passing and turnover ratios.
Each is numbered 1 through 32 depending on their ranking with the other NFL teams, right?
Okay, if I add up all five categories to one number, then a small sum would be good, a large number bad. For example, a team ranked 4,4,5,2,3 in those five categories would total an 18 score. a team ranked 30th in each of the five categories would have a 150 score...very bad.
If I get a score for each Cowboys season, I can determine, at least on a statistical level, the best to worse teams in their history. Of course, some seasons had less than 32 teams. it's not as impressive to be ranked 10th when there were 14 teams in the NFL.
For seasons with less than 32 teams, the rankings are adjusted to reflect a proportional position in a 32 team season.
For example, there were 14 teams in 1961. The Cowboys score of a 53 in a 14 team season is equal to scoring a 121.1 in a 32 team season.
Anyway, the team last season, in 2023, was ranked 1st in points scored and 5th in all four remaining categories which gives them a 21 total score. That is ranked as the 3rd best in Cowboys history. Only the Super Bowl teams of 1971 and 1977 were better. The next two teams after the 2023 season were 1978 and 1992, a SB loss and SB win seasons.
Out of all 65 Cowboys seasons, this season's team is presently ranked 3rd to last with a total score of 122. Only the 1960 and 1989 season, both Tom Landry and Jimmy Johnson's 1st seasons as a Cowboys and NFL Head Coach, are worse.
This season's productivity rankings in scoring and yardage and turnovers is even ranked worse than every Campo season. it's worse than Landry's last season in 1988. It's worse than the 2015 season in which they started at RB with Joseph Randle and their starting QB's were Brandon Weeden, Matt Cassel, and Kellen Moore.
This season is experiencing the same tragic domino effect as both 2010 and 2015. The season starts off with several key injuries that greatly impacts the Cowboys ability to diversify their offense and leads to exposing the QB to injury. This exposes other depleted squads as the season rapidly deteriorates.
Injuries wiped out a major aspect of the Cowboys defense while Jerry Jones did the same thing to the offense by omission.
A veteran free agent starting quality O-lineman and at least one legitimate NFL RB were not additional luxuries, they were the minimum necessities of a team ready to go "all in" this season.
I have no idea how this disaster of a team went into Pittsburgh and won a game.Imagine how much the Steelers are kicking themselves after seeing this disaster week in and week out.
I’d say the team has quit on MM, but I am not entirely sure Mike hasn’t quit himself.
