Like with Romo, I wish they would scrap a lot of the pre-snap BS and just get up there and run a play.

Keep the defense on their heels and don't give them all the time in the world to get set every play.

I don't mind using motion to identify man or zone coverage but my gosh please stop with every other play making 20 adjustments.

I actually would have like Dak to audible out of a few runs last night.

I see lots of upside.

Despite playing fairly poorly in the first 3 games, we've managed to win 2 of 3 games.

I see an O-Line that is struggling for cohesion, but the ability is there to improve when your best O-Lineman is playing the worst football of his career (Tyron). I think Green is proving serviceable but Collins needs to get it going big time as well. I know a lot of people want to see the switch to G, but honestly I think we're going to be ok.

Zeke still isn't the Zeke we expect but another week or two of practice should have him 100 for the majority of the season. He's starting to get the juice back in his legs that's been a bit absent. There's no question the legal battles have added weight to his mind and body. It's clear he didn't expect to play despite the contrary proclamations. You can see the competitor in him when he pops a run or two and his confidence builds.

Overall it's been the veterans that have made the gaffes in coverage other than Lewis in week 2. That should balance out a bit as well as Lewis was thrown in by fire and in one week made significant strides. I noticed in pre-season that when the kids are on the field the Defense as a whole has a much nastier demeanor. They hunt for big hits and bring an intimidation factor that will only increase with Lawrence's arrival on the D-Line. What else can you say about Tank? If he doesn't read his press-clippings, keeps grinding, and stays healthy- we might have that War Daddy.

Heath is an enigma. I still think he's underrated but that was a rookie misstep on the first Palmer TD pass last night. Xavier Woods and Kavon Frazier both are pushing for playing time. Woods looks like he's got something, and Frazier is more than solid when inserted in the line up. Someone said Heath in small doses might be the best bet, I would agree but he actually has plus ball skills. That was an uncharacteristic drop of an INT for him last night.

Dak's confidence climbed out of the cellar last night on the TD run and then the pass to Butler. He has proven he can play at a high level in this league, and last night in the 2nd half he reminded himself of that fact. He let the game come to him for the first time this season in the 2nd half.

The team is just warming up and there's a lot of work to be done. But I don't think last year was a fluke and I don't think this team is going away. In fact, I think the team has an opportunity to be a better football team than last season's when it's all said and done.

The offense will get going when Chaz Green and Collins figure it out. Right now they are the culprits that is making our line not look like a unit right now. The All Pros are having to cover for a lot of their weaknesses and it's causing them to struggle a bit.

Agree. Collins will be good, but he's letting the back door open and and causing Dak to have to account for that. Also factor in our receivers aren't getting good separation so he has to hold the ball a little longer than desired.
