This was also the play where Hill successfully blocked Smith.

Sweet Jesus why does this board worship toxic contract year turds so much. Ratliff was a POS.
He stole money from JJ for sure. Said he was injured to stay on IR. Let him go and signed with bears (I think) and was playing like the next week.

That is exactly what it looked like. A guy interested in his own agenda instead of the teams. Way too many individuals on this team.

I guess Madden is realistic in their coding to have a defender go after a blocker instead of the ball carrier lol.

What a mess that game was.

To be honest, he had no chance to get the QB. I have no idea why he chose to charge to opposite side the QB rolled out to. I think he thought the offensive lineman was hitting him at the knees and that's why he reacted.

It was that kind of day for Dallas. I am pretty sure their is a play like that for every player on this team. They were awful.

One other point about this play, something Zimmer better watch for, the entire Cowboys DL attacks to their right as if they expected a running play to the offensive left side. In the meantime, the Saints rolled the QB out to the right. This was a designed play to fool the Cowboys. They fell for the fake handoff, which wasn't even that much of a fake.

At least Phillips got penetration. LOL.

Yes the fake hander you talking about plays that they're absolutely great at running play action passes that is the offense and you know why they can do it because they are offensive line in their run game is better than ours but this is nothing to do with our offense so we gotta get back to defense and they're gonna watch these games and I believe they're gonna see where they made the mistakes and let's see how this plays out over the next six weeks I'm really already over it and looking at the Ravens..

So Jordan Phillips lost his place for that one moment but the play already rolled right I don't think he was gonna get to Derek Carr before the ball was released so making fun of one guy when there's 24 defenders that could be responsible for this loss plus the coordinator... It's early in the season mental mistakes like this happen let's move on and get to the Ravens...

Exactly all these people are trying to pick one player one player 1 incident in the game and lost no it was the entire defense played like crap including the coordinator who couldn't adjust to his own ex offensive coordinator which I think was more the issue.. He literally was reading the formations telling car where to go they had the perfect game plan and Mike Zimmer didn't adjust and picking out Jordan Phillips one play as if we should make fun of him when the whole entire defense suck balls.

Beats his guy, gets a clear path to qb, turns to re-engage with blocker

Kinda reminds me of when Bobby Boucher intercepted the ball, then threw it to the guy who insulted his Momma so he could Karate kick him in the end zone
you might wanna watch that again.

This is probably one of his better plays. One running play he got driven nearly 10 yards downfield by the center.
