This really puzzles me about Jerry Jones

You can't make a highly paid adult "mentally tough" in crunch time... its innate.

Jerruh is a master marketer not psychological expert nor genius. He hands out large Christmas bonuses to players in June and has been shaken down by players. Taking the lesser evil (pay) to obtain the greater good (superbowl).

He also is self-motivated and doesn't need "coaching" himself. He fails to realize people like Roy & Ellis ARE NOT... they litter the team & are beyond what coaching and motivators can cure.

Maybe this is happening and it just has not been mentioned, but I would think that it would be wise for Jerry to hire some motivational or psychology experts to talk to the Boys about their mental makeup as I believe that it why we have lost the last two years. We cannot play soft anymore and I would like to see a mean streak when it comes to the defense. We have the talent, but it has been proven over the years in every sport that the most talented teams do not always win and most of it is most likely mental.

A team is only a winner because someone else failed to beat them. The NY Giants are hailed as champions because Scott Norwood pushed a very makeable FG wide.

So under the microscope the Bills go to find that definitive flaw which if the %'s on Norwood's kick had carried the day, would have been no flaw at all.

There can only be one winner at the end of the season. Geez, I am an analytical by nature and sometimes the over-analyzing drives me nuts.

Theres something wrong when guys can't get motivated to win...when they are getting paid millions of dollars to play football. I would give everything I had for all 16 games if I got the paychecks these guys are getting

This is just a rumor, but I heard that last year before every game, Wade Phillips could be seen staring deeply into a mirror and saying "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and gosh darn it, people like me." Maybe this will rub off on the players this year. I've heard good things about Wade's year two.

Honestly I think this oh we can't win in December blah blah blah is just media hype and garbage. I would like to point out a couple of things. Eli manning and the giants didn't win a playoff game untill this year. Then to say that they were on fire going into the playoffs isn't true because they were also 2-2 in December. I don't care how long it's been since we last one a playoff game that means nothing IMO. I think just because of the team we are and the record we had we are expected ot do more but honestly I think we are progressing nicely. Honestly we are losing in the post season because maybe we weren't as good as we thought we were. They were definitely some holes in our team that were exploited however I think we are even better this year than last year so a playoff run isn't to far out of the question. We are still young
