This team is about to implode

As bad as this seems, don't be surprised if they beat the 49ers..........then lose the next 2-3.

they are frustrated. they got their butt whooped once again at home. they get a bye to lick their wounds, but the schedule is going to be relentless in the next 4 weeks. and they are going to start going at each other, locker room breaking down. the media pressure and Jerry having to spin spin spin the crap he built.

we are going to be 3-7......

I predict we will be a 5-12 team. that's what they look like right now. they will eek out two wins against panthers and giants.
" About to implode" ??? This organization has already imploded for 15+ years. And this franchise keeps doing is reorganizing the deck chair each season and the fans buy it

Yup. The Pitt win just delayed the inevitable. 10/28 will be firing day.

And it seems minor but Tolbert usually sure handed drops a bomb lost in the sun inside a roofed stadium. What is the excuse for the owner not to block out he sun in a mega expensive “ home “ .

Always our guys, the lions seem to not have a problem the big TE caught a nice one for a TD.

Oh yeah.

It’s going to get SO BAD over this next month.

And carry over into the rest of the season.

And result in the entire coaching staff getting fired.

And Jerry will try to hire a big name to try to get back to relevance.

Bad times coming.

They already have.
Yup.....Today the dam broke for a lot of guys. Way too many "business decisions". You can't go forward with the statues quo. Someone has to be the fall guy going forward. Mike had better lay down some law....and cut someone....or he's toast.

You know things are bad when.........

What is really crazy about this team being so bad is that people are surprised. Last year it was Quinn's fault, this year it is Zimmer on Defense and they are just as bad and maybe worse. This team didn't do much at all to address the shortcomings it had last year - specifically the run defense and running game.

We have a ton of money tied up in a few guys that are very disappointing. Diggs is soft and a premadonna. Not worth a fraction of his contract.

I like Dak as a man but no one can say he is close to being an elite QB at this point. Even the biggest Dak homers have to agree he is a marginal QB with limited ability to see the field.

The defense has limited skill players and can't play assignment football in coverage nor can they maintain any gap discipline in the run game.

This team has NO chance at the solid teams in the league and the whole thing needs to be blown up. Cut your losses.
and too many penalties

It might be bad this year but the last time something like this happened we landed Parcells and that was probably the most fun I've had as a fan outside of the 1995 season.

Here's how this will go...

It will get worse, forcing Jerry's hand.

McCarthy will get the boot. By the way, he's a consummate finger pointer, so expect him to say some wild "stuff" on his way out.

Al Harris will get the Interim HC job with Jerry asking Zimmer to stay on and help him.

Schottenheimer will call the plays but mainly because there are literally no qualified offensive assistants on this staff. Maybe they roll with Scott Tolzien.

Al Harris gets the token interview and team almost immediately names Bill Belichick as HC. Jerry "suggests" Belichick keeps Harris on staff. Pray that Belichick does not bring on Josh McDaniel as OC.

Lather, rinse, repeat (but I do think Belichick is significantly better than McCarthy).

I think you may get a sense of Deja vu.

My expectation is that Jones will reach out to Bill Belichick in an attempt to keep his team relevant.
