I thought people were insane when they claimed that our win over the Giants was one of the worst things to happen to our team. I thought a win over a division rival to get us to 2-2 could never be a bad thing. But at this point I'm almost wishing we lost that game though. If we lost to the Giants I feel like we would've almost certainly lost to Pittsburgh too and been 1-5 instead of 3-3. And since there is zero chance this team makes any kind of run for the Super Bowl this year I genuinely think being 1-5 would've been better for this team long term than 3-3 is. Don't think there's anything to gain from being semi-competitive and winning 8 or 9 games this season

I'd like to see Harris get the rest of the season to get their player's attitude right. He's been their as a player and is a proven coach and motivator. If he does a great job, we have our man, if he doesn't we hire a coach and hope Jerry let's him spend some money in the off season.

No coach will be able to fix this team unless he has been given that control that Jimmy and Parcels had. And we all know Jerry doesn't want to give that control because he wants all the credit when things well.

I can see us beating NY and the Eagles at home. Panthers is a toss-up. That's it. Maaaaybe the No-Names at home. 6-7 wins, but depending on how bad the 49ers beat us, we might win 1-2 more.

I agree. they scored on every drive through middle of 3rd quarter, except it was field goals....our defense couldn't force a punt until end of 3rd quarter...that's atrocious and its got lost in the middle of all the crap we have seen from this team.

I honestly think the Cowboys can beat the 49ers and will win at least 9 or 10 games this season. I definitely think the Cowboys are at least a WC team. Things always seem bad after a blowout loss but that game could have easily been more competitive yesterday. The Cowboys just seemed to fold after the RZ interception. The fragility of the teams psyche this year does concern me. Adjust, adapt, play smart and don't panic in situations where things aren't going well. Rise above it and compete hard.

No Im not ok with McCarthy. What I'm saying is this team needs a culture change and unless Jerry gives up control to a smart innovative head coach it won't matter. New coach should have power to hire his own staff not just stick him on existing staff. The coach needs to have power for him to be respected.

Jerry won't don't that...so why bother with a new coach.....
Why, because any coach with a sack and people skills can win here. Gotta have a sack, first....then needs to know how to psychologize the old fart.

Only guy IMO that could do that is Bill B. And I think he is on Jerry's shortlist for 2025.

I prefer another coach, but I think Bill can be another Parcells here. For better and worse.
