Sounds like an overall low football IQ team.
Just the opposite of the Parcells teams that paid attention to detail.
 
I thought we were finally starting to grow a spine when we came back against the Birds. For so long once we got punched in the mouth in the first qtr we just laid down but that game we did not.

But that apparently was an anomaly.

Our LBs suck, plain and simple. That's how DET was able to consistently gain those yards. And our Ss suck. Until we fix that, we are going to be susceptible to outside stuff. More CBs will do nothing to remedy this.

The team will continue to be soft with the Joneses in charge. When your job is not endanger why go out and find some dogs on defense that might rock the boat. Keep the gravy train rolling.

All starts at the top.
 
This all might be true but they also lack talent on the defensive side of the ball. Realistically we need 5 new quality starters to be average. The back seven is the worst in the league and the DEs can't get pressure. This is also the reason why I don't understand why Eberflus doesn't blitz. At least if the opposing QB beats the blitz the offensive would get the ball back sooner.

They're not under talented......they can't see. (Murray & Liufau at the goal line), on separate occassions.......couldn't find ball.
