The defense is improving. I dont think they are terrible end of season. First they needed time to gel. Then we lost all but ONE DE. To compound the problem we were already weak at DT and have been short at CB all season.

With guys coming back they will continue to improve.

Unfortunately they still need talent on the line in particular and I can't see them being dominant in any form or fashion this year. I can see them being solid.

The offense is just so limited without any receiving threats after CD. Turpin is awesome, but he's a niche player and we have to pick our spots with him. The TEs are OK, but Fergy hasn't progressed. I can't blame him too much, because the whole offense has been a problem. The oline either needs to be retired or is really really young. I question coaching there as well. Rico isn't bad, it's a shame it took MM 10 weeks to do what I've been screaming for since about week 3. Let him cook, he's our only decent back at this point.

All said we aren't a great team, but at least they played with heart.

As we get healthier, the team should get closer to the .500 mark. This team was never going to compete for the nfc championship.

We still suck but not as bad.

What they did with the OL is real. Bass, Beebe, Hoffman, Asim, Schoon played with an edge up front, Cooper had a clean pocket all night, Dowdle had holes.

Our Dl looked better too, Mazi and Kendricks played well, Micah Parsons & Overshown we're bringing real pressure, as good as anyone can bring.

Take the win.

Injured quarterback? You talking about the Cowboys. Daniels was fine. Washington is 7-5 and had 10 days off. Again another Debbie downer giving the Cowboys no credit.
washington is in the midst of a losing streak and Daniels was injured and since hasn't been the same.

our special teams were awsome. the defense was awsome for about 3 quarters or so. if not for the incompetence of washington special teams missing 2 PATs, very rare unless you are Brett Maher and you miss 5, this game would have been lost....thank you turpin, thank you Austin Seibert.

Yea, im gonna be that guy and injectsome realism back into yall. Our defense is still garbage, the offense is still garbage. Mazi will be fighting for job next season, Zeke will be retired, MM and Zimmer will no longer be here. This teams needs a ton of work
On Washington's 2 point PAT and on their last TD drive, it exposed just how fricking dumb some of the players on defense are! You have to be pretty smart to understand today's NFL playbook, but it makes you wonder what is going on in some of the pea brains assigned to certain positions on the field of play. On the 2 PAT, Parsons looked to have an angle on Washington's QB, but the corner messed that up and blocked Parsons on the play. I thought Parsons was going to drop his own teammate after the PAT foul up. Then on Washington's last drive, once again the Cowboys had a corner who didn't drop deep enough and allowed the receiver to blow right by him and out run the coverage for a score. These types of breakdowns have been happening all year long to the same players! At what point do you say enough is enough and start releasing these bums because nothing the coaches do are going to matter to these brain-dead players.

One win. It was a fun, crazy and exciting football game today. But I also remain firmly convinced this 2024 Cowboys team is not very good.
i mean again for 3 quarters it was really bad hard to watch football...then the 4th Quarter you could make a case it was even WORSE played football just way more exciting to watch.
