They need the bye big time. I just hope they don't lose sight of one more.

They do get the shaft however with a 10hr flight home.

Ro, Church, Romo, Murray, etc. all need a nice rest.

The dilemma, we have to play the gents on the road for SNF, and then turn around and play philly 3 days later for turkey day.

Gonna be fun! ;)

The bye is coming at a great time. The last 6 games are very tough and dallas is beat up and tired as you said. They have lost focus and intensity too.

Perhaps they needs a break. More than that they need to get back to fundamentals and eliminate mental mistakes. There are issues that need cleaned up before we make a final push for the playoffs. Not pointing fingers at anyone specific as we face challenges on both sides of the ball.

I said the same thing on another post. I think few early big games(NO, Seattle, Houston) has taken a toll . Both mentally and physically.

The defense looked tired on Sunday but that had more to do with being on the field so much.

I really hate these London games....

Great for the fans over seas but is a pain in the rear in the middle of a solid playoff hunt

The flight home is not a problem because they have the bye afterwards. It would have been nice if the bye was before the London game, but if they win then it's probably better that it's after.

Don't understand this. This flight isn't much longer than a flight from one side of the country to the other. They are flying in total comfort, this isn't exactly coach on a 727. It's only Tuesday morning, they have five more full days to get adjusted. What's the problem? The Jaguars are dealing with a similar set of circumstances. This is so overblown.

I agree. You're really tired the first day, kinda groggy the next. By day three you are completely adjusted. It's not a big deal.

that said, the bye is here at the right time. Team needs a couple of weeks.

Going 10 weeks without a break and as some have pointed to some big games will take it's toll both physically and mentally. Cowboys need to take care of the Jags to get to 7-3 and then allow some of these bump and bruises to heal so that they are fully ready to make the final push.

so is fatigue going to be the excuse for a team like Denver, at the end of the year, when they had their bye early on?

Give me a break.

If this team is tired, its because they aren't well conditioned or are doing something wrong fundamentally.

I don't see them as being tired. I'm sure the defense got fatigued at the end of the AZ game, but that's because the offense could hold the ball an had multiple turnovers.

The 10-hour flight will be a slight setback but nothing that should really impact their return to form. Returning to play the Eagles after a mere 3-day rest probably will be but we'll just have to get our act together somehow. If we are able to get past the Eagles with a "W," it'd be a huge boost approaching our playoff bid. Hope we do just that.

Teams used to go 16 weeks without a break, and with much more hard physical practices. With the new reduced practice schedules and non contact requirements, and year long work regiments compared to years ago. This team, any team should be in shape.
The bye helps with injuries, but tired. No way.
