This team needs juice. What would you trade to go get Travis hunter? Would you trade Micah

What confuses me on this board is the illusion that the Jones are capable of pulling off a trade like this.

Teams have admitted they can get the Cowboys to dramatically overpay and talk about Jerry has no patience for the back-and-forth. They call it the "Jerry Tax." There is also been public talk that Stephen is the exact opposite and has unrealistic demands. Stephen was quoted a few years back as saying they needed "payback for teams getting over on them in the past."

These two are unserious clowns.

Nothing. The Cowboys are more than one player away to trade up for anyone in this draft.
See it’s not about being one player away. It’s about trading a huge contract for a smaller one and reshaping the roster a bit. It’s goofy but I would do it

Use 12 and other capital on two rushers. Pass rush by comitee and swarms and less speed

So explain to me how we get better by trading one of the best edge rushers in football, which is considered a premium position in today's NFL, for a guy who has never taken a NFL snap and teams aren't even sure which position he will play at the next level?

I mean if the goal is to just try to sell more jerseys and generate a bunch of PR, sure, make the trade. Or if your goal is to just save money, sure, make the trade. If you are trying to build a winner, ehhh, don't see the logic here.

I don’t necessarily have “getting better” as my only goal, I want a team that can compete and sustain that and be fun to watch

Micah goes down and we lose 49-0?

How good is he
One of only a handful of blue chippers in this class. He's a lot like his former teammate in Aidan Hutchinson in thay he's a great mix of highly talented athlete with an insane motor and great football smarts.

His best traits are extremely heavy/violent hands to help him win quickly and great play/blocking recognition which can take years in the NFL to develop (the main reason so many DTs struggle early in their NFL career imo).

He's not the physical freak some top prospects are but he's absolutely the total package overall.

Here is the rub. The lions were 3-1 with Hutchinson fully healthy. They only lost two more games in the next 13. It is a sport where you need a lot of good players to win at a high level. Detroit has those players in spades. Dallas needs several more, not 1 more.

Think about our defense with vs without Micah. It's night and day and Graham could have a similar impact.

I'd rather have one true difference maker than two solid contributors.
