The first game Rush had started in how many years? It's not easy to just come out there in your first start and play one of the best D's. He's steadily improved since then.

That’s an excuse. I’m not knocking him for sucking against Philly….they are a good team. He had one of the worst performances I’ve ever seen. He has gotten better. But if the team plays harder for him why didn’t it show up that game is what I was asking.

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion, this team was a mess earlier in the year.

However, the defense played hard today and maybe they're starting to figure out how to play as a team under Zimmer's scheme. Having Bland back looks like it makes a huge difference too.

Really? You may want to go back and watch some of the Dak “deer-in-the-headlight” games. What is the reason his teammates ceased to play hard, despite being professionals? Leadership matters.
