This was Bill Parcells football

I can't believe this whole thread has gone by without mentioning the great, legendary Lynn Scott

amen.

his 3rd and 17 check down to witten, made the fans boo but it was the exact play they all wanted.

and it paid off.

I was cheering on that play he made the right choice he looked deep the play was not there hit your underneath guy if he breaks a tackle and gets a 1st down if not punt and live for another day. Now I understand there are times you have to throw caution to the wind like trailing and time winding down but that goes back to understanding the game siutations.

Then again the average fan does not understand field position they play way to much Madden. Like when fans boo on 3rd and 20 and backed up deep and running a draw play. Why are they booing ? it is the smart play because if they turn it over forcing the ball on that side of the field the fans will be crying even worse because the opponent is going to score most the time from that that Turn Over.

It galls me sometimes how people complain about running plays on 3rd and 20 from your own 20 :bang2:

Toby Gowin would've knocked down the Jerrytron.

The one play that we should have never got rid of was the Bruce Coslett roll on the ground play.

Tony McGee and Darnell Scott used to kill on that play.

Leo Carson and Willie Blade would've shut down our running game tonight. Surprised Carolina didn't look into it

I'd call it the "Move the Chains McGee" play. Bennett would destroy on that play.

Blade would have soiled that running game

Heard they're looking into it, but are leaning toward Daleroy Stewart instead.

Not needed if they'd pick up the block swallower himself Brandon Noble.

I just want to add, Curtis johnson is enormous. IN person he is bigger than spencer.

Just thought some of you guys would appreciate that! He is huge.

I can't stop laughing at what this amazing thread has turned into

On a more serious note, we do need RB depth and Aveion Cason is there for the taking. Do it, Jerry!

If you show Vollers love than you gotta show Javier Collins some love too.
