its a statistical impossibility and i say theres no chance any of that happens..some yes but all..no way the east is locked up even if we lose out and the rest win out..The Cowboys will most likely win the division before the game Sunday night. The Eagles need some crazy results to stay in it even if we lose out and they win out.
SOS:
Philadelphia: Washington (6-8), Detroit (2-11-1), NYJ (3-11), Denver (7-7).
Dallas: NYG (4-10), NE (9-5), LAC (8-6), and Minnesota (7-7).
If those 4 Eagles opponents all win out minus Washington Eagles opponents would be 29-38-1.
If those 4 Cowboys opponents lose out, those Cowboys opponents would be 28-40.
They pretty much need all the teams we've beaten that they haven't played to lose out and DET and NYJ to win out. It's over

I hope it don't come down to that,I know this is different team from past years, but our recent history with win and in is not great, especially going to Philadelphia in the cold,we all remember the last time we went there with playoffs on the line..I still don't trust the offense not do do something stupid....I know we're better than them and should win,we will find out soon enough...Go Cowboys!!The pressure is on the Eagles right now more so than the Cowboys, although, the Cowboys can't afford to let up in their remaining games. We are favored by 10 points or so over the WFT. If we play up to par at our home field, we should beat them convincingly. No guarantees, however. It's also anyone's guess if Arizona will be able to rebound from their present slump, but they should be desperate enough to play their best. Maybe there's a chance we'll need to win in our last game in Philly, although it's doubtful. Hopefully, it won't come to that but if it does . . . Go Cowboys!![]()
Funny? What it would be is ridiculous on our part.G. Gilbert may be starting his 2nd game for wash, and he will want to beat the cowboys . Be funny if he did.

No we can drag this out at least until Sunday. Besides it is a "Must Win". I don't want my Christmas spoiled by that Washington team.Welp, sounds like this week is not a must win. End of thread.
The Jets have to win out for us to lose the tie breaker on the Eagles for strength of schedule. Other things also but this is the one that won't happenI'm not sure how this tiebreaker works out between the Cowboys and Eagles so maybe that would save us but if not, a loss this week carries a very real possibility of having to travel to Philadelphia in the finale with the division on the line. They've got a cream puff matchup with the Giants this week before a rematch with Washington.
The Cowboys get the Cardinals at home next week. They're reeling right now and scheduled for a Wentzing this Saturday. They will be a very desperate team when they arrive in Dallas. I'd still pick the Cowboys to win that game but it's dangerous.
Things will get very interesting if the Cowboys lose this game. They can not let that happen.
You can set your clock to the "Must win game" or "If the Cowboys lose this week" threads each week![]()

Chargers and Atlanta will close the deal before Dallas even plays again Sunday night.
