I know a lot of you think the season is over, and it may very well be, but i'm still hoping for a turnaround from this team. Do i honestly think they will make the playoffs? No. But i'm still hoping.

With that being said, here are this weekend's games in the nfc and how they affect the boys.

Browns@Saints... browns win would help for wildcard, but not gonna happen

Eagles@Titans.... go titans, but philly is playing great right now. No desean jackson though... toss up, but we really need the eagles to lose some games.

Bengals @ Falcons.... don't see the bengals winning this one

Commanders @ Bears.... looking at the division race, you would root for the bears. But if the skins win, both the bears and skins have 3 losses.

Rams@Bucs... don't care... neither one will make the playoffs. And if the rams do, it will be for the division, not the wild card

49ers @ Panthers...who cares.

Cardinals @ seahawks... who cares

vikings @ packers... packers are struggling and vikes have the tiebreaker on us now.... hopefully vikes or bears win the north

giants @ cowboys.... another division loss here, especially at home, and the season will be all but over.

I think the boys win the next 2, but struggle in new york the next week. But if they beat the the giants twice, the jags, and then the lions, they will be sittin pretty.

The problem is eli always plays great against us, so if we want to win, we have to come out with some different looks he hasn't seen before. Our defensive scheme has been ineffective against him for several years.

Even with the supposed parity in the NFL functional during the first month of play...I just don't buy it. That goes for the current record for Dallas too.

The Cowboys are two and a half games behind those Giants. I still think that the Dallas offense is the element that can dominate even that same New York team. I think two close proximity wins over those Giants are very doable for this team.

I figured this Dallas team as being a ten or eleven win team during the pre-season. Even if it seems the focus of the entire league's referees are solely upon Dallas, so be it. This team can still run the table for a ten win season. That would still allow for a pair of future error filled games and still meet the mark for the playoffs. Then, it doesn't matter at what point this youth filled team toes the line...only that they are doing so once the gun for the sprints goes off.

Our Cowboys need four straight wins...and nothing less to get the oils started again. To grease this season's regular season gears.

The teams are so very close to one-another if terms of talent and skill that anything truly is possible. A turnover here or there, a penalty here or there. IF we can get it together, we could go on a tear. IF we don't get it together, we could lose all our games.

with division losses to the bears and vikes, that cuts down our wildcard chances. we have to basically run the table in our division and win it, even at 9-7, to make the playoffs, IMO. thats still very doable, if we can keep it together and not totally collapse - which is equally possible...
