Of course when we beat Seattle, we had Romo, we had Murray, we had Bryant and our OL was dominating people.

We don't have any of those four thing going for us now.

And with a few breaks to go our way. Maybe the ball bounces our way this week.

Jerry better be out bidding the refs against Kraft, who are already in his pocket with Goodell's blessing. But maybe he will forget his cash purse and checkbook at home. Jerry can use his stash at the stadium.

That too. Need guys to convert on some of these missed opportunities on defense. Can't drop INTs this week.

From what I have watched this Pats D can be run on. If we can show some sort of life in the down field passing game we can have some success offensively.

I think you mean 3 years ago...where it'll be 10-0 in the first five minutes.

Brandon Weeden throws for 400 yards while while Greg Hardy gets four sacks and walks away with Giselle.

But the Patriots still win

Nobody is giving Dallas a fighting chance and people predicting scores of 50 to nothing. I know that the Cowboys offense is without two major superstars. However I feel that Brandon Weeden has not done a bad job and really began to show signs during the final drive in New Orleans that he can get the ball down field whenever the Cowboys go to an empty set. I am hoping that coaching staff put a lot more trust in Weeden, especially now that the running game has not been effective. Beasley is a tough matchup man to man in an empty set, and I feel that Terrance Williams is due for a break out game this Sunday. I also feel that the addition of Hardy and McClain will increase the depth of the defense and keep bodies fresh on the DLine to rush Brady. I feel that if Sean Lee can go this weekend, that will give us three very solid linebackers with high football intelligence to quarterback the defense and will also help the secondary play a lot better. This team will compete for 60 minutes. Against the defending Super Bowl champions, that may not be enough because Tom Brady can will his team to victory, however I feel that our team will compete and have a fighting chance and the game will go down to the wire. Does anybody else agree with me?

REAL doubtful, but I hope you are right.

All it takes is a few things here and there to go our way, but I don't see how we win this game. Weeden's got to find the end zone often and that's a lot to ask of your backup QB against Super Bowl champs.

I dunno, First Romo lost his #1 receiver, now Brandon loses his #1 receiver for the season. ;)

All the games are important. Some more than others though.

Maybe from a confidence-boosting sense, it has some extra importance, but in the grand scheme of things, non-division/non-conference games are the least important games the Cowboys have.
Ranks of importance
--NFC East games
--NFC games vs likely playoff teams (ex. Green Bay)
--other NFC games (Tampa Bay)
--AFC games (ex. Pats, Jets, etc)

Cowboys have 2 positives going into the game: no blue jerseys and no Aikman and cluck. That alone gives us a punchers chance!

Looking forward to seeing if we can compete on competitive pride, or if we'll lay down early because we're just not good.

The Cowboys are known to play to the level of their completion............having said that unless we dominate TOP I don't see us being within 10 points the entire game.

The defense would have to play lights out. Definitely have to force 2+ turnovers. somehow keep the score in 20s.

It may very well turn out like the majority say it will, but it has yet to be played so nothing has been determined. That being said, The Cowboys must play a near perfect game for the full 60 minutes to have a good chance.

Dallas might play their best game and with Hardy back the pass rush is going to pick up , so I hope Dallas does step up and beat New England. It will be all over Sports center if they do. :yourock:

In last year's Seattle game, we had Romo, Dez, Murray, and the offensive line was clicking on all cylinders. Going up against the Pats, we have no Romo, no Dez, no Murray, the offensive line is playing somewhat inconsistently, and the defense is playing like crap. This game has ugly written all over it and I'll be pleasantly surprised if the game isn't over by halftime.

Don't see us beating the Pats without Romo. The team would still be underdogs with Romo. But Romo could have perhaps moved the ball well enough and score enough points to keep up with the Pats Offense. And make up for a mediocre defense by scoring a bunch of points. But with Weeden we would need the Defense to play on another level to keep the team in the game against the Pats.

A Weeden lead offense had problems with being able to move the ball or score for drives during the game and then the Defense gets more tired from being on the field for too long. If this happens against the Pats then I can see a blow out that won't be in our favor.

Hope that I'm wrong about this though.
