That would be better than the one you have now especially with the Cowboys running game going from #2 in the league last season to currently 16th with McFadden averaging 3.5 a carry along with Randle's stellar 3.9. Your boy has picked up right where he left off in Oakland. You went for a catchy username and it came back to bite you. lol There's certain usernames you know will come back to haunt a member and that one was almost guaranteed. They'll let you change it once McFadden is gone after this season.

Hey can you really blame me? I wasn't the only person to think McFadden could have success in Dallas. Most thought the Cowboys had a dominant offensive line. The best in the league. Combined with a superstar like Dez Bryant on the outside. A guy who takes two even there guys away from that box to help the running game. As we've seen this season without Dez in there, without Romo obviously, and the offensive line not being as good as we all thought and McFadden's inability to break any tackles and just it looks as if his explosion is gone. I was wrong about him. Randle has explosive capability and has shown it at times, but there has to be massive holes on the field and the reason he keeps jumping over the line is he can't get the dirty yards like Murray could and can't just lower his shoulder and run through and over people like DeMarco could. The Cowboys miss the guy there's no doubt. Yeah the blocking hasn't been there, but really the blocking wasn't there his first few seasons in the league the Cowboys had one of the worst offensive lines in the game and yet Murray was always a very productive back. He was really a perfect fit for this scheme, there was continuity on the offensive line, and based on what we've seen from Randle if there wasn't Murray last year running the way he was the Cowboys probably win 5-6 games tops.

You and the others who thought McFadden would have success in Dallas got too caught up with the potential he had coming out of Arkansas 7 years ago and with the Cowboys young OL. None of you paid enough attention to his injury history or his average play the past 3 seasons. He averaged 3.3 a carry the past 3 seasons which was the lowest in the entire league for a back not named Trent Richardson. Even the Cowboys didn't have a lot of confidence in him the mostly incentive based contract they offered him points to that. You weren't a member here during the offseason but had you been and followed my posts from the day Murray left to after McFadden arrived and trusted my analysis you would have known it's going to take more than banking on the talent of the OL for him and Randle to produce. I pointed out months ago that Randle's 5.8 rushing average was due to several long runs through gaping holes that padded his average. In traffic and tight spaces he barely averaged 3.0 a carry. Both he and McFadden need space to be affective they can't stiff arm their way through traffic or push piles.

Neither back can wear down a defense which is something Murray did last season that contributed to Randle having some huge holes to run through with the opportunities that he got. Even before a back reaches the line of scrimmage it's their vision and instincts that can create a play with very little space. Once they get past the line of scrimmage it's their vision, instincts along with their ability to avoid defenders and break tackles that create plays. There's certain qualities a runner has that makes them special and the great runners didn't need huge gaping holes or great OLs to be productive runners. Anytime a team banks more on the talent they have on the OL than the talent they have at RB it can lead to problems. Had the 93 Cowboys decided to move on from Emmitt and bank on the talent of the Great Wall of Dallas the Cowboys wouldn't have won back to back SBs and 3 SBs in 4 years because the back matters!
