We absolutely needed to win this game if we were serious about going to the playoffs.

Newman was fantastic, he backed up his talk and played OUTSTANDING.

Barber looked great and showed he can carry the load a full game and not run out of steam.

Romo was rusty but accurate and his chest pass for the first down was play of the game.


Now we have San Fran and Seattle the next 2 weeks. We can not afford to lose one of these games. We get to 8-4 and we are sitting pretty for a playoff berth coming into December

Gore is arguably the most talented RB we'll face all year. Portis is probably better but Gore is a beast. Very hard to tackle, shifty in the hole and a very good receiver. SF as a team is playing with some fire. We need to come out and match their intensity.
