appears to be USC WR Patrick Turner

he's 6'5" 223, is catching alot of passes while looking smooth running routes, and his stock is definitely on the rise

Servicable..nothing to write home about...Jarrett? Mike Williams? Plus we already have enough possesion recievers..Aka Crayton and RW. We need a burner!!

did you really just call RW a possession receiver? he runs a 4.35 40 dash ran a 10.48 in 100 meter

Highly doubt he runs a 4.35 now..your not gunna see him blow by someone any time soon..His strengths are slants and comebacks. Even he admitted that he is just strong and physical, not fast.

Straight line RW11 is fast, but he's not very agile. He's slow getting in and out of his breaks which means he often doesn't get a whole lot of separation. This is where his strength really helps him out because as long as you put the ball near him, he will probably get it. He is the kind of receiver that a QB really needs to be able to trust, and I don't think we ever saw Romo comfortable doing that. Hopefully with some offseason work, they'll get to know each other and everyone will see the real RW11 shine through.

And yet, when you compare his stats to the top 15 WRs in the NFL last year, only 4 have a higher career yards per reception average than his 14.5-- Roddy White, Antonio Bryant, Greg Jennings and Santana Moss... only 4 of the top 15 have a higher percentage of 40 yard plus receptions than Roy's 1 in every 21.6 catches-- White, Bryant, Jennings and Moss again... and only one of them has a higher percentage of 20 yard plus receptions than Roy's 1 in every 4.13 catches, Jennings, who had one in every 4.05 catches...

Sure sounds like a guy who can get downfield to me...

FWIW, the receivers considered in this comparison were Andre Johnson, Wes Welker, Brandon Marshall, Larry Fitzgerald, TJ Housmandzadeh, Anquan Boldin, Roddy White, Dwayne Bowe, Antonio Bryant, Reggie Wayne, Hines Ward, Greg Jennings, Derrick Mason, Lance Moore and Santana Moss... and Roy is easily one the top 2 or 3 downfield threats in that very solid group...

Hahahhahahahaha. No.

Johnson, Marshall, Fitz, Boldin, Bryant, Wayne, Jennings, Moore and Moss easily are better than Williams in this regard, as well as all-around WR play goes.

here we go again with the exaggerated 40 times. Please post electronically timeed 40s only...all others are fiction and urban legend. Roy posted a 4.48 40 but says he thinks he could get as low as 4.36 if he trained non-stop to get a low 40. Bottom line, he's plenty fast.

He's a guy I like a lot. Great size, good speed, and played in a pro style offense. Every year I was expecting him to break out. Hopefully he ends up a little better than Marcus Monk.

Certainly Johnson, Marshall, Fitz, Boldin, Wayne, and Jennings are better all-around at this stage...not so sure about bryant or moore. Hopefully Roy will become more polished.

What are you talking about? Monk's playing great this year. He went for 10 points and 5 rebounds in the last game for the Hogs.

If they were, their numbers would reflect it...
